450hp turbo V6 or 707hp twin supercharged V8. I'll bet one at least sounds better than the other...

Anyone know if anyone has installed the Hellcrate engine in a RAM?

The Raptor is amazing bu it sounds like a fruity exhaust Honda Accord.

That being said, the next gen is supposed to get a 5.2L Supercharged V8 with over 700 hp. It will be based on the GT350 5.2L, however not with a flat plane crank. Also supercharged.

Ford pretty much has no choice, with the TRX coming on-line and talk of a supercharged 6.2 from a Chevy competitor, they have to join in on the V8 war.

It is just Dodge.

3 new models.

Durango Hellcat

Charger Redeye

Challenger ???

And then a probable revamp of the trim list.

8950 horsepower.

Journey and caravan most likely exempt.

But, DODGE HELLCAT EVERYTHING

So, it appears it is DODGE SRT.

The 3 engines are Hellcat and RedEye and 392 SRT

Challenger Hellcat 717 Widebody 717 for 1434
Charger Hellcat 707 Widebody 707 for 1414
Durango Hellcat 707 for 707

Hellcat for 3555

Challenger RedEye 797 Widebody 797 for 1594
Charger RedEye 797 Widebody 797 for 1594
Durango??? Wow(doubtful)

Redeye for 3158

So supercharged for 6713

Leaving 2237 to of the 8950

If you divide 2237 by 485 you get 4.6...if it would have
Worked out to 5 that would be charger/challenger scat pack and scat pack Widebody and Durango SRT.

So maybe they miscalculated their horsepower lol

They did away with the Charger Hellcat narrow body in 2020, so you might have too much allocated to Hellcat HP. But who knows.

They’re supposed to drop 3 teasers before debut and haven’t seen anything on their social media today.

Hmm...thanks for the info. I didnt notice it nit being there when I went through build and price.

I was having a day dream earlier that if they did do a RedEye Durango that would leave just over 1300 horsepower...a 1320 Challenger 426 50th anniversary...ok done daydreaming.

Yeah, I didnt see anything yet either.

I do know 10 more days to Chrysler @ Carlisle. We saw the charger Widebody reveal there last year. Anxious to see what new Mopar we check out this year.

Ok, I reworked the numbers, and I think I might be getting close. Looking at only SRT models from Dodge and Ram including the most likely (from leaked info) new vehicles, I got to 8361. That's only 589 short. I was banging my head against the wall trying to think where the other hp was going to come from. Then I remember that they were planning a second version of the performance truck, the Rebel TR, which was supposedly axed, but was supposed to have a 7.0L banshee engine rumored to produce 525 hp. That gets us to 8886, only 64 hp short, and that's low enough to be accounted for through hp bumps here and there. It's a long shot to think Ram revived the TR as a special surprise, but honestly, I think Ram/Dodge is just crazy enough to do it.

Challenger Redeye 797
Challenger Redeye WB 797
Challenger HC 717
Challenger HC WB 717
Challenger Scat 485
Challenger Scat WB 485
** Charger Redeye 797
Charger HC WB 707
Charger Scat 485
Charger Scat WB 485
** Durango HC 707
Durango SRT 475
** Rebel TRX 707
** Rebel TR 525

The TRX will not be having the REBEL in its name. Guess that does away with the REBEL subbrand that was rumored.

This is Dodge only. The TRX wont be in it. The supercharged cars dont come close without the 392...but why not include the 345 and the V6.

Very interesting. Maybe the will do 808 on the RedEye and 727 on the Hellcat.

Release the next teaser already.
Maybe if it does include the TRX another 707 will be the steeet truck they rumored.

I just can not see Dodge using a RAM in its promotion...but that would be cool

Dodge is supposed to have a big unveiling this Thursday.

I’m wondering if the TRX will be shown. I was looking at Dodge’s website this am, and now Ram is listed under the dodge vehicle line up.

When you pulled the vehicle tab, did it have Dodge SRT? It does now...i didnt notice it yesterday.

And the RAM TAB does shown it takes you to a different site.

Interesting.

Ok, got you covered.
All trims/engine levels for the Charger, Challenger, and Durango - minus anniversary or variations on the same trim (citadel, sxt plus, gt plus, etc.):
10,545 hp. (1595 too much)

Or maybe we do it with nothing below RT for each vehicle:
8,759 hp. (191 short)

Lots of ways to run this. I will hold out hope that Ram is included, especially since they are supposed to reveal it in June anyway.

Ninja Edit to add one more:
All trims/engines, counting widebody and narrow as one variation
8,061 hp (889 short)

Yes, I definitely remember seeing SRT, and for a long time now.

So, I missed where it said the 3 teaser videos will be on July 1.

I thought is was 3...one each day.

Now, I see someone is saying it is a truck starter when it fires up...lol

Oh, I also thought it was once a day too.

Could be a Durango starting up too.

With only a couple of days notice, I’m not sure they’re unveiling something super big. Can’t imagine there’s a ton of people foaming at the mouth for a $80/90k Durango.

Gotta imagine they’re more teasers for the TRX.

At least we don’t have a long wait for Dodges announcement.

It sure seems to lean that way. I just still stand that Dodge wont include the TRX...but it doea make sense.

The only other thing that was to be a go was the ACR Challenger. A viper hunter. And of course the 426 Banshee for the 50th anniversary

A 426 Banshee N/A and supercharged would help those numbers.

Sorry, but none of the other Mopar sites seem to care. 10 more days til Chrysler @ Carlisle

Oh, and there is always the slim chance they got the emissions on the 426 Hellephant.

That would help the numbers lol
