Just seen it. The poor Raptor. About to be ate
.
I'm no Ford fan, but neither would I count Ford out just yet. The Raptor is a very highly regarded truck, and Ford has a lot of years of experience being at the top of the off-road heap with the Raptor, plus they have a much larger engineering budget than Ram.
.
I'm Ram all the way, but I wouldn't write off Ford's Raptor quite yet. I'm hoping the TRX is head & shoulders above the Raptor, but only time will tell.

Lol, you can’t tease any more than that.

Looking forward to seeing the final design and pricing.

I probably would’ve bought a Raptor over my Rebel if they were the same price. Maybe. The interior definitely is not as nice. But exterior? Who doggy. What a mean looking truck. Love it.
But they are so expensive. Even though MSRP is close to the same as what my Rebel was, good luck finding one anywhere close to that price.

Real interested in the TRX. I’ll probably upgrade to it in 3-4 years.

Late summer 2020, didn't realize we were that close to a release. I had a gen 1 Raptor and it was pretty great at the time. They lost me with the ecoboost and MSRP on the gen 2. Couldn't pay me to go to an F150 interior after having a Ram.

It would have been debuted if covid hadn't shut down the auto show.

I was hoping to see this at Chrysler @ Carlisle. And was kinda hoping RAM might bring it to Bloomsburg 4x4 Jamboree with RAMINATOR and the General Tire monster trucks.

Not sure what late summer is, but I would bet there will be leaked photos soon.

Or RAM will do what they did with the HeavyDuty and parade them down the road.

Was kinda hoping for a Demon style roll out.

450hp turbo V6 or 707hp twin supercharged V8. I'll bet one at least sounds better than the other...

Anyone know if anyone has installed the Hellcrate engine in a RAM?

To be fair, I am sure the RAM TRX will be quite a bit more expensive than the Raptor....so you'll be paying for that 707 HP.

Dodge is supposed to have a big unveiling this Thursday.

I’m wondering if the TRX will be shown. I was looking at Dodge’s website this am, and now Ram is listed under the dodge vehicle line up.

I am not seeing where you say RAM is listed under dodge.

It says right in the thing about dodge muscle cars.

Most likely the charger demon widebody...or whatever mile long name they come up with for it.

The pull-down Vehicles menu has a link to “Ram Trucks”. I’m pretty sure that’s always been there.

I see that now. I would agree it has always been there.

Some people still do not know RAM is separate, so I can see why it would be there. A proper way to use the former dodge ram link lol.

It wont be the TRX on July 2nd. But be sure to watch any teaser they put out. It may make a cameo.

I never had previously noticed the Ram section from the Dodge site and I look pretty much every month since I’m shopping for a Challenger. Maybe I hadn’t noticed, and the upcoming TRX, made it click for me.

Edit: Devil, that makes sense...Forgot that many still say/think Dodge Ram....
Odd they’d have a section for Ram, but not Jeep, which has the Trackhawk (at least for this year).

Good times to be a Mopar fan.

I would say they just left the Dodge Ram tab there. Because people havent figured out RAM is separate.

Most people do not know that Jeep and Dodge are connected.

That would be my guess.

Just like Jeep no longer uses SRT in there models.

SRT is just for dodge now.

Dodge also tweeted and shared a little clip full of exhaust notes and electric sounds, and said that 8950 hp joins the 2 mil plus already out there July 2. It is possible they could unveil the TRX on the 2nd.

I tried doing the math. Question marks next to the unreleased vehicles. I had to include the 5.7 version of most as well as three trims of Grand Cherokee to get as close as I did. (Pardon my formatting)
I can only assume that I either have the hp slightly wrong on a couple, or some are getting a small boost for 2021.

Jeep is still using SRT for the Grand Cherokee. At least through 2020.
