How do you like the truck, specifically the ED? I ordered a almost identical truck 7/8 and patiently waiting. Loved my 2016 Hemi w/3.92 but she is getting a little long in the tooth. Just wondering how the diesel is doing with 3.92 gears?

They churn out Limiteds quite fast. Mine took less than a month from order to dispatch. That Red edition is very cool! Don’t say many going for it. Exciting

I went in to my dealer to place my order on a 22 and was advised during discussions that they expect this to end soon for the 22. Well the day I went in it had ended so I was now having to go for the 23. They were still saying 3-4 months and they had no idea what incentives and so on I would see. I wanted the Bighorn and one option I knew I wanted and needed was the enhanced 9 speakers with the subwoofer. I heard this in one of only 3 on the lot. I decided not to order and the salesman asked if I wanted to consider the one I tested. It had most all I wanted in a truck except the color was not my choice. But with my credit, the incentives and the low interest rate Chrysler was offering I took it. Was too late on Friday to do what I needed to do there so I will be there at 9am today to do the paperwork and take possession. I went with the 3.6 V-6 eTorque. I was coming from an F-150 with the V-8 5.0 and I no longer need the larger engines in my life and I thought the eTorque ran very well in the test drive. I'm looking forward to coming back to Ram.
Well, I'm not quite sure what happened but I'm either just very lucky or #1 on Santa's list but my truck has shipped and it's only been 21 days since the order was confirmed. Delivery date currently scheduled for 9/12. I'm in shock at how quickly this happened especially given how long other members have taken.

Except mine lol. I see all these limiteds placed after I ordered mine and they’re in production or built, while mine hasn’t even been scheduled lol.

Ordered July 16th. Only options I got were the 22” wheels, pano roof and paint matched bumpers. I got lucky and found the same truck I ordered but with the level 1 package.
I'm a former GM guy as well. Loved my '15 Silverado LTZ Custom Sport with the 6.2. Transmission was total garbage, and had several nagging quality issues. Never again. Plus, I'm firmly convinced they have the absolute worst designing group of the Big-3. they seem to insist on stupid design elements for some unknown reason. The RAM is so much more pleasing aesthetically. Picked mine up about three weeks ago. Loving it so far.
The GMC I sold had the 6.2 engine. Had transmission problems also. Looking forward to being in a Ram(I hope).
I have the same hope - time will tell if any of the "known issues" develops. Certainly hope not.
I think somehow I went to the end of the line. Ordered 1500 Limited / 6' 4" Bed / Ivory White / Night Edition on 6/10/2022 and got confirmation with VIN almost immediately. Was notified it went into queue on 8/1/2022 and nothing since. Called RamCare they said they can see the order and nothing seems to be holding it up, but couldn't give anything more. Also called RamChat, they also could see the order and nothing seems to be holding it up, but was told if nothing changes by the end of the month to call back and they will escalate. Dealer is telling me it should ship 2nd week of September. Hope to see a truck some day.
Reached out to dealer for an update on my 6/24 Laramie order and the ship date has moved back 3 weeks. Trying to work a "deal" for in-stock units around here, which is rough, but I need a vehicle by the end of September and it's looking unlikely with the factory order.
