Don't get auto ship quotes to your email or phone, they will spam you for months. I was able to get 12k off in Colorado from Autonation (+ whatever RAM offers when it lands).

Yes and now (if you're missing something).
NO, the regional rebates do not differ by that much, it is not that all dealers in a certain state are at a gigantic advantage of another state. I think at peak there may be a $3K gap in rebates but that's rare, and often has contingencies.
There are some regional trends, though, such a certain states with very low threshold of dealer regulations so they can advertise complete nonsense (I'm not naming names)

BUT the difference is there are a few specific dealerships that have figured out you can get a lot more deals done, if you get to the point and offer the best price you can up front rather than doing a dance. Break down the mental barrier that you have to buy the vehicle locally (shipping is ok, or a quick road trip) there is a lot of money to save out there. And arguably, a lot of time to be saved - instead of three saturday afternoons driving up and down route 1 looking at 4 different dealerships and arm wrestling them all for the best deal, it's cut and dry and gets to the point right quick.

my friend im in nj and I got ~19% off on my Laramie in stock vehicle (aged stock however) and got ~4k more than I thought my trade in (another ram 1500) was worth

dealers are dealing, just call around and be aggressive. I called 9 dealers in my area and all but 3 of them were hovering around 15% off, but those three were within $800 of my price.

Curious if anyone knows what a ST/CNTY/CTY Requirements test that put 16miles on the vehicle before i took delivery of it might be? Is that basically a shakedown drive the dealership does before i take it? The dealership logged it into inventory with 5 miles and then i took delivery with 21 miles. Its a good company, i'm guessing this is normal but i don't know

Not normal anywhere that I've ever heard of. That said, the 21 miles are about typical for delivery. That's what my HD had on it. Maybe they just logged the delivery miles from the carrier wrong?

Tungstens are sparse enough that it's worth it for them to hang tight around that price someone will pay it.

So I'm researching the pricing on these trucks and it seems pretty aggressive for this month. My biggest qualm that I've encountered is the truck bed length. I am probably overlooking it, but why isn't it listed on the window sticker?

For some reason they changed it a while ago. You can tell based on the VIN if you decode it. I special ordered for the 6’4 bed and the crew cab (only real reason.) check out the PDF in this post: Where on the window sticker does it tell you the size of the bed?

Look at the sheet metal between the back of the cab and the rear tire.

It's a quick, easy way to determine bed length.

Once you see a long bed, you'll know.

If you are scouring the net for new trucks on-lot or in transit, the bulk of them are advertised with stock photos. So the Window Sticker or VIN is all you really have.

That's where using the chart in the linked PDF helps. I knew I was looking for a Laramie longbed with 4x4, so I'm searching for 'RFR' in the VIN.

That's why I ended up ordering. I couldn't find a truck nation wide that had the crew cab, 6'4 bed, and any decent options that wasn't white or silver.
