Price negotiated from MSRP

Well I was hoping to hold on to my Equinox until either the supply chain issues subsided (not until Spring 2024 I hear) or gas prices stabilize (not likely anytime soon), but with an engine issue (absolute best case is timing chain but looking like a new engine is going to be the diagnosis), it doesn’t make sense to put a lot of money into a 2014 Equinox.

I should’ve bought from Mark Dodge a year ago but here we are….most dealers in my area are MSRP less small rebates (St Louis area), but I’m back on the hunt. Anyone with recent experience with Mark Dodge? Experiencing 10% MSRP still?
Go to Laura Chrysler in Sullivan, MO. My special order Longhorn is almost in and they had a better price than Mark Dodge.

I'm getting close to my close date. These are the incentives I think I can get.
$500 Tread lightly
If I take the $1500 cash incentive will I not be offered
2.79 for 72 or 0% for 48? I have 800 plus credit.

Any other incentives I should look for? I am not Police or Military.

I just purchased my truck from Lou Fusz in O'Fallon for the Affiliate Rewards/Tread Lightly price plus $3500 in May rebates (see my post earlier in this thread). Ended up at 12.3% off MSRP. This was for a truck they had in inventory. It was a 3 hour drive but well worth it! You need to shop around more and maybe widen your search area.

Penfed/True Car $500 may still be available.

Always take 0% unless you don't qualify or can't afford the 48 month payment. 72 months at 2.79% adds up to over $5,600 in interest charges!

No kidding. I'm exactly at 12.3% off MSRP in addition to whatever incentives are applicable at time of delivery. That's over $10 grand! That's a ton of money!! The flight, hotel and fuel to drive home the 1,100 miles will be maybe $2 grand at the most and I will have a weekend getaway with the Mrs. out of it. Worth it I think.

Window Sticker: $68,155
5% below invoice: $59,662
Bonus Cash: $2,000
  • Conquest Bonus Cash - $1,000
  • Memorial Day Bonus Cash 22CN1T -$500
  • PenFed - $500
Net: $57,662 - 15.4% off MSRP
Financing: 60 months 0%
What is required to get the Conquest Bonus Cash? Copy of the title?
Is it only good for competing brand pick-ups or does it apply to any vehicle? (e.g. Ford Mustang)

I just sold my chevy silverado to my father-in-law, but for $1,000 bucks I might 'buy' it back from him for a week :P

I wondered about that too. My wife’s car is a Chevy and titled in my name. Was wondering if that would work even though we don’t plan on selling it. I already own a RAM so maybe it won’t apply anyway. Looking for a loophole to save a few bucks.😆

I provided a copy of the vehicle registration for my F-150 to get conquest. My understanding is "conquest" means it has to be a truck.

Thanks. I actually will pay off the loans sometime this year. I have a piece of land I'm selling. Unless I do get the 48 at 0%, then I'll probably just invent and make the payments.

I looked at the Ram site this morning. It showed 0% for 48 months AND $1,500 rebate or 0% AND $1,000 rebate. For the 0% and $1,000 rebate they didn't specify a loan term. I would assume since the rebate is lower, the loan term would be for at least 60 months. If not, why would anyone choose the smaller rebate?

In my region I only see 0% 48m with $1,000 or 1.9% 60m with up to $4,500. As predicted, the financing offers are getting worse. I doubt we'll see 72 months 0% again anytime soon.

They need a picture of the registration.

Registration needs to show a valid date -Today is between the Issued/Expired dates.
Registration needs to show your name -They might accept a husband/wife's name.
Registration needs to show vehicle type is competing -Truck for Truck, SUV for SUV, Car for Car. I'm not sure how specific, like a Bronco for a Wrangler.

They accepted my Frontier as a competing pickup truck. And for the record, I'm permitted to keep my truck.
Also, if you just sold your truck and still have your registration, the date window might still work if it's not expired.

I now have 2 trucks

I see that too but if you read the disclosure it says must take delivery by 7/5/22. If you just ordered and won't get it by then, will the coupon still apply?

May not be “worse” may just be back to normal. May had Memorial Day promotions. When I bought in February it was just 0/48 with no cash for laramie

Only if the fine print says "must place order by X date".

When people talk about getting 11-12% off MSRP at Mark Dodge that is BEFORE the rebates
