Price negotiated from MSRP

@cobrakai77584…when I use the Ram app and build a Rebel with just the hemi, night edition and level b, msrp is at $59,510. What am I missing here? You got a great deal!
Thanks! Mine is a 4x2 which is probably the difference. I wanted the added ground clearance of the Rebel due to Houston flooding but didn't need 4x4.

All,
Here is the 2022 Laramie Level 1 Equip Group (A66) contents I received from MD. They said you can order this now for 2022. It is more expensive than the Level A by ~$400.

Finally pulled the trugger this week with Sandi at Mark CDJR. Got a Rebel ordered. MSRP $71000. Mark CDJR sale price $62374. So roughly 12%+ below MSRP. I loved their straight forward approach and no pressure for dealer add ons. My price was actually below invoice and employee pricing plus they'll bring the truck to me for free. A local dealer wanted $65K for a Lonestar Backcountry. Another dealer got close but couldn't match the deal. Rambox and power fold mirrors not currently available on the Backcountry, otherwise I probably would have gone that way. Sandi was great every step of the way. I wish there were more incentives but the market is what it is. Overall, I'm happy with the build.

2022 Ram Rebel 1500 4WD
Granite Crystal Metallic
5.7L HEMI V8 (Non eTorque)
e shift transfer case
block heater
33 gallon tank
Level B Package
Rebel 12 Package
Advanced Safety Group
Blind Spot & Cross Path Detection
Comfort & Convenience Group
Technology Group
Bed Utility Group
Pwr Fold Trailer Mirrors
RAMBox
Multi Function Tailgate
Mopar bedliner
Trailer brake controller
Rear wheelhouse liners
This is nearly the exact same build I just had Sandi quote and indeed pretty favorable pricing and no BS. Bummed about no power folding mirrors and having to order ASG with Power Trailer Mirrors which is nearly a $2k hit. I might hold out until the normal Level 2 package comes back (hopefully)

I agree, highly "suspect" ! Something is missing in the narrative ? ?

edit -- oops, should of read on 1st , , , Yup, definitely not a "Normal" situation ! Quite rare I would Hope !
In the future I hope others will take note (of this) and Present Real-Deals that the "Average Citizen" would negotiate under "normal" circumstances in an open & clear way ! Isn't that the main purpose for the thread . . . you know, as a teaching mechanism for all of us ? Just my opinion, and wish list item going forward !

edit.2 -- Thanks Rebel & 'dd' . . . psst don't forget to check your inbox's for the $20 bitcoin endorsement "gift" !

!

Basically, I won the lottery with my deal! Sorry to upset others just excited hahahahah

Really though without my exception to the rule deal for the "average consumer" my MSRP of $53,645 would have been EP price for me at $47,058 as I listed above.
I, for one, appreciate the info because it does apply to me.

Wouldn't it be smart if the Tailgate being open also tripped the door ajar indicator? How hard could that be? I had inadvertently pressed the tailgate down button,
But due to my tonneau, the gate was unlatched but did not fold down until I took off. Only to notice it after I got home.
This time I had nothing in the back to fall out, but if the door indicator showed the Tailgate down, it could save me some grief down the road if that happens again...

I'd rather have the rear-view camera be composite image from two cameras, one on the top of each tail-light assembly. That way I could backup and use the camera while the tailgate is down...

Picking up a new limited tomorrow. 72270 msrp, 64238 otd. Deals are out here. Out of seven dealers two were aggressively pricing. Two were no response to emails and text. Two had no stock and one was 3k over msrp and NOT budging. I tried on two preowned. Both were 2-3k over their original msrp in 2020. Just do your research.

What dealer you getting it from?

Can anyone give me an idea on shipping from Louisiana to California? I am having Mark Dodge give me a quote on a 1500. The logistics of picking it up might be a problem.

Rough estimate is about 1 dollar per mile.

I am 1500 miles from MD, but local dealers are all going with 3000 above MSRP near me. Making the order and delivery a no brainer despite the cost.

Depending on some travel plans, may still go down and pick it up and drive myself home. It all depends on the timing.

Good Luck.

What trim level do you have? My 2019 Big Horn and 2021 Laramie both have a tailgate ajar chime and dash light.

I was actually looking at flights from Fresno California to Dallas and then Houston as a definite possibility. Around here for an order they are doing MSRP, period.

I’m planning to have mine shipped to Sacramento sometime towards the end of the month. I planned out a driving route if you’re interested.
Mark Dodge LA to Odessa, TX (10 hours)
Odessa TX to Phoenix AZ (10 hours)
Phoenix to home (8?)

More than likely I'll have it shipped as well. Did they give you an idea on shipping cost?

So this is my quote from Mark Dodge. Thanks to Sandi she had it to me within a couple of hours. I'll wait to see if any California dealerships will even come close, I doubt it.

About par for all the deals we got. I’m told for the shipping that it goes out to bid so I won’t know. Aren’t wheels ($1300) and chrome 900? I suggest considering the Southwest edition package and removing those.

also there was a blue color shortage. No idea if that’s been resolved. Could result in a delay in your truck as opposed to other colors.

Oh wow, that is a great deal. I could care less for the 12 inch screen, but still all the other stuff is great.
