there's a guy in my town, i've seen his truck a couple of times at the local HD and other hardware stores, it's a black limited like yours with a black canopy. looks good. also a long box. i figure i'll run into him one of these days and compare trucks. his is certainly more upscale but my big horn is still pretty nice inside with the level 2 package and the LEd lights.

Soooooo happy with this truck, I had the 5’7 bed on my other truck and just couldn’t handle it anymore. This is WAY more functional and I know it’s only a couple of inches but swear this truck rides and handles better than my shorter bed one did…. I think these longer bed trucks look perfect with a mild lift and tires.

The 6'4" make it look like a truck vs a chopped up SUV. I also agree with the ride quality and if I'm not mistaken a little better towing capacity too.

I wanted the longer bed for hauling. Besides, the bed being longer than 6' allows me to take it as a work deduction. The benefit? 100% Section 179 depreciation in year one.

No way? I didn’t know that. I thought curb weight had to be over 6000lbs? I know someone else with a 21 limited long bed and he was bummed because he thought it would qualify but he found out his didn’t

I had checked with my accountant prior to the purchase and Section 179 is governed by GVWR, not curb weight. According to my accountant, another thing that tilted it in my favor is that we have 3 vehicles and 2 drivers in our household, so I automatically have the truck as "100% business use" since we have an additional POV. Of course, the other biggie deduction is being able to claim all gas and insurance as a business expense. I also own my own business, you can't take the deduction as an employee.

2022 Bighorn Granite Crystal Metallic, Night Edition, level II equipment group, bed utility group 5.7 Hemi 3.92 rear end. I've since added Voron rain deflectors, Carhartt seat covers and N-Fab steps. Replaced the 2003 Ranger in the background

Gotta have long bed and topper for farm and hunting. Wife didn’t like the idea of ”old man topper”… oh well.
