Let's set the Stage.
Imagine, most cars had one radio speaker that played music from one radio that had only one radio band, AM.

All of sudden, you could add a different radio, even with an 8 TRACK and install a pair of rear speakers, for this thing called STEREO.
Want to know how incredible the experience difference was, go play an Atari.
Watch B&W Star Trek on a 13" tv compared to todays, 85" QLED

Most of us had listened to a steady stream of mostly British, Androgynous Singers, in bands filled with potential **** Pilots.
Few carried themselves, as we did.
Band members who looked like we looked, guys who physically worked, all day and party'ed, all night.

Then, out of nowhere, comes this band, from Canada, with an album called Non Fragile, showing a bunch of gears and cogs on its cover.

Really helped to be a late 1970's chemically induced altered state of mind.
Alcohol would set you on the path but just wouldn't get you, there.

Turn it up - LOUD
For some reason, a lot of this music works best, loud.
Think this guy was 17 yr old, back in 1980, when he did this.
Can't really remember.

By 1982, had already worked a ton of concerts and never seen anyone do, anything, like this

Met him, before & after the show, and was just as regular, as could be.

In memory of Grandma Jake

Just Imagine for a moment if you will
You are 7 years old. Summer 1962 (not like Summer of 42), hot, no air conditioning, maybe a fan that can cut your fingers off and a glass of warm pineapple juice with one cube. Grandmas babysitting and your sitting on the couch with plastic slip covers, half stuck to them and she is watching Lawrence Welk. Oh the memories.
Today it would be child abuse.
