Poor gas mileage

Nice! Perhaps some nice tailwind helped. (y)
not yesterday in TX, there was a storm blowing in from the north, now southern winds at all. Drove into the front about 70 miles out of Dallas and mpg dropped to 17mpg for about 15 miles

Yeah TX has been getting some odd storms for sure!

In the summer heat, mostly highway driving, mine has settled in the high 16mpg (actual) range with the occasional tank in the mid 17mpg range. Not great, but I guess that's as good as she's going to get.

Don't forget, in the winter we get the "winter blend" gas which lowers the MPG a tad.

2021 rebel etorque with less than 1k miles and 33 gal tank... getting 12.8 avg around town and barely 17 on the highway doing 60-65 with cruise on and ac on 2/low. Gas mileage is about 4mpg off sticker.

I’m in the high 16’s from city driving, idling while running errands over the weekend.

Did some city driving last weekend. NYC metro area. I got around 10mpg :ROFLMAO: And there wasn't that much traffic. The stop and go from traffic lights really kills the mpg.

We just took a long trip thru 7 different states for a total of 2795 miles. I'm guessing that about 250 miles of the total trip was in town, with the remainder being freeway miles.Much of that was in Nevada, Idaho and Utah with 80 MPH speed limits, which means I was going 85+. I even got it up to 105 MPH, just to test out the wheel balance that I had done in Boise, ID, as it was vibrating at 75 MPH and up. Elevation changes were all over the place, from 92 feet to 7011 feet. A strong headwind in Idaho to Utah really hurt the MPG. But in spite of all that I was able to get an even 20 MPG on the trip meter and 19.66 hand calculated.

This is DashCommand running thru the multi media box. It uses a WiFi dongle to get the data from the OBDII port.

Yes, that is what I was referring to. Which OBD2 adapter are you using?

Here is the link to the media box. It's an Android System running thru car play. It is just like an android device.

Quick road trip last weekend. I really tried my best not to go over 65mph by using the cruise control :ROFLMAO: ... This is with 87 Octane gas.
