Can anyone tell me what the estimated payload and tow capacity would be for ram equipped as below:

1. 2019 RAM 1500 LARAMIE LONGHORN® CREW CAB 4X4 5'7" BOX
2. 5.7-Liter V8 HEMI® MDS VVT eTorque Engine
3. 3.92 Rear Axle Ratio
4. 4-Corner Air Suspension
5. 33-Gallon Fuel Tank
6. Off-Road Group
7. Level 1 Equipment Group
8. Advanced Safety Group

Check out the thread (“Please post your...loading sticker”) for lots of info. My fully-loaded Longhorn has the worst sticker I’m aware of on this forum (1,069 lb payload).

There's a whole thread on payload capacity that you'll need to look through, as I doubt anyone is going to have the exact same configuration as you or do the calculations based on other users data (unless someone is feeling very generous). I'd suggest starting on this thread.

7100 GVWR and 17000 GCWR

Most Laramie Longhorns have less than 1200 lbs payload.

The above mentioned thread will give you a great way to come close.

Remember payload takes away from trailer and trailer from payload.

1840 and 11300 are not going to be had on but very very few trucks.

@Zeronet has most of the options by weight in that thread. A post also has the highest and lowest from each trim, who had posted when I did it.

The Laramie Longhorn will have the lowest payload and lowest towing of any.
 
Your configuration is pretty close to speedyv. I estimate your payload at about 1100. If you leave out the ram boxes add 160lbs to that. I have no estimate for the air suspension.

With 1100 payload minus 400 for driver/passenger/hitch/accessories/cargo leaves you about 700 for trailer tongue weight. Assuming a 10% tongue weight your towing capacity would realistically be about 7000.
 
I could be wrong, but I think the number already has an allotment for driver & passenger weight built in, so would be no need to deduct that weight.

That is only for the tow rating and it is only 150 lbs each. I way almost 300 myself
 
Gotcha.

Oh also, are the numbers on the Mopar site after I logon the 'as-built' numbers? If so, I have the 1840/11340 unicorn... :)

GVWR and GCWR for 2019 Ram 1500

Read the first few pages if this.

Those numbers are for the configuration of the truck. Not the trim.

Note how they figure the number. 33% of options.

A Rebel 12 or a Limited have at 80% or above. More to the 90 % range.

Look at a Laramie Longhorn optioned out. 1069lbs of payload.

Tradesman and bighorn/lonestar are going to barely get those numbers.

Great news, I'll give it a search. Stuff like that are the best part of online communities.

I have a Rebel 12 with a Sunroof and that is it, so I should be pretty close to the top of the range. I have not towed much historically, so when we eventually buy a travel trailer, I'll stick in the 5-6000# range anyway and make things easier on myself.

That's a great place to be for a 1500. Thanks for being realistic. I love the Rebel, it just doesnt meet my needs, but it sure is on the want list.
 
I entered my VIN # in at the Dodge website and it listed my Truck max payload at 1,820 and max towing at 11,330. I will be towing a 20-21ft Stingray I/O boat for quite a ways, but I have not towed before in this Rebel.
I'm looking at ball hitches, and was thinking of going with a Reese one, but not sure what size ball I would need to tow it as I have not seen the trailer it is on. Watched some towing vids, and I see I need to turn off Rear Park Sense, use Tow/Haul mode, cross 2 chains from the tongue to the hitch on truck, use safety pin for coupler.
One thing that concerns me is this "trailer sway" that I have read about.

By now you should know that those numbers are "imaginary"
 
As stated above those numbers on the site are generic.

The numbers that pertain to you are 7100 GVWRand 17000 GCWR.

When you get the truck look at your door jamb sticker. Subtract payload from GVWR and that gives you a good idea what your truck weighs.

Lots of info here about all if this.

As you said, get the right size ball, and right capacity.

The ram actually comes standard with trailer sway control in the traction control programing... but you can also add a trailer sway control bar.
