It's definitely not a quick process for those of us that ordered Limited's. 6 weeks now and still D status which is gathering parts. Only thing I can think of is they are raising the cow for my seats.

I'm not a GMC fan, but I love the commercial they run at Christmas where the guy buys a truck and an SUV for him and his wife and the wife runs and takes the truck that he wanted.

I was just talking about this commercial yesterday and wondering if that's going to be my wife!

Never leave them alone. Message them after you take delivery and ask them for updates

For those of you the picked up your truck at Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, where did you stay? Did you discover anything cool while you were there? Any good casinos? Party spots? I can Google but just looking more for personal experience. I'm planning to be there late Friday night and all day Saturday, leaving early Sunday morning.

you'll be there a while...just doing paperwork? Last few cars I bought, I had them FedEx everything to me and I mailed it back so the pickup process was literally "here's your key" and off I went. I personally plan on spending about 47 minutes in Lake Charles, half of which is eating a sub-sandwich

After driving down for 12 hours, I'm not going to drive back up the very next day. So, Saturday I'm planning to just hang out after I pick up my truck first thing Saturday morning. I'm actually on the fence, I'm trying to decide if I want to stay in New Orleans or Lake Charles Saturday before driving back to SC early Sunday morning.

Timeline update for those tracking: Last week I got my window sticker and both Ram Chat and dealer said delivery window was 5/25-6/8. This morning I checked in with Chat to see if there is an update, now they say delivery window is 5/17-5/31! I hope they're right and something moved forward instead of back for a change! Moving daughter out of college this weekend 6 hours away and really wanted the new rig for that trip. My unicorn is being delivered to a local dealer in MA, I'm not a Mark Dodge guy... These last hours are brutal! (not that I'm complaining very excited to be where I'm at! ) Anyone still reading this thread who has taken delivery, how accurate was the given window? Did yours show up in the early or latter part of the window, or totally after the given dates?

I can’t answer your other questions, but I can guarantee it won’t be delivered May 17.

Lake Charles had some bad flooding recently, as you may have heard. I only asked Adam about his family and the dealership, both are which were fine. I don't know about the local hotel options.

Looks like my build sheet is available! Ram chat said that it's in shipping status but that no dealer ETA is available yet. They said to check back later in the week for an estimate.
