Ordered 1-29-21, vin# received 2-12, built and shipped 3-10, arrived in winston nc 4-2, arrived at dealership 4-21. The kicker is it had the tailgate and bumper torn up. Can't get parts from Ram most are backordered. Dealership now is reordering the truck so looking at another 4 months.

Ugh, that sucks. Crazy that they can’t get a replacement bumper and tailgate; there’s no way that should take longer than getting an entire new truck.

Thanks! They actually got the bumper and tailgate, it's all the little things they can't get. Like the the rubber guard on top of the tailgate, bumper hanger mounts, wiring harness, etc.

That's unacceptable. I would tell them to cannibalize an existing truck on the lot in their inventory to make your ordered vehicle complete and they can wait on the parts from the factory to make that truck whole again.

Use all that little stuff off of your build. The wiring harness got ruined? If that’s the case than the truck sounds like it’s totaled. A little damage to bumper and tailgate should still allow all this little parts to be salvaged

I ordered 3/10 and my vin is 746319, still in D hell, but expected as I’m in Canada. Takes for f n ever.

Edit: disregard, checked ram chat tonight and it’s being scheduled. Asked when the status changed and it was April 29, which means D1 for me baby. Maurice also said next up is frame stage! Might have a truck by June!!! Slightly excited now. Order to D1 was 7 weeks and 1 day.

I just got an email this afternoon. I placed the order for my Bighorn on 3/24 and it hit the lot today. Going to head up on Saturday to fend off the financing guys and the add on fiends to take delivery. Pretty short wait but I skipped the tech stuff. I can still manage to keep in the lane and park all on my own.

Lol. That’s great. Stay in lane option is annoying anyway. I had a loaner that had it and every time you switch lanes the beeping makes you think your about to crash. I ordered my new rebel without that option too. Also I can park my self

1) The build sheet shows up when the build is completed, not started, correct?

2) Once you have an estimated shipping date, that is pretty firm, and Ram is not typically off on that by much, correct?

My build is supposed to be happening this week, and shipping this weekend. So far, I have not seen a build sheet at the fcacommunity.force.com site that is linked to for finding one.

Winston: I live near there...and ordered through Phillip Olson in Seattle. The guys at Northpointe Ram didn't reply to my email when I was trying to buy local. Shrug. Wondering if you're dealing with them, or further east, at Kernersville (who have a great reputation)?

Tomorrow will be 5 months since i went to the dealership and ordered my 1500 Sport. Just talked to the guy at the dealership. He said that mine was still in D status . But it will get built and won't get flipped to a '22. that's it. no timeline or anything. the wait continues...............

Well you know they’re still building the old classics, probably still filling those orders…lol

That's just sad and crazy at the same time.....

I would shop around and see what's available on the lots even if it's further away. I wouldn't wait 4 months.

I've not had lane keeping on my own car, but my wife's Volvo has it and if you use the signal to change lanes, the lane-keeping assist doesn't interfere. I think if you steer enough into the lane it won't activate, just if you drift over. It's on our ordered Ram. I hope it doesn't beep every time I cross the centerline intentionally.

It's the blindspot and x-path that's the main requirement for me. Between towing and potentially thinking about driving with a topper, it's certainly worth the wait for me.

You might be right. I do tend not to use my signals on the highway if it isn’t congested. I only had the lane assist for two weeks ides on the highway. Both were in ideal by myself driving. No turn signals required. 4am
