Figured I'd join in on a couple of simple modifications Went with the OPT 7 Redline Triple LED bar and got the front windows tinted to match the back. With all the rain here, I haven't been able to get her washed in almost 3 mos.

Where did you buy the LED bar?

I installed this same light bar last weekend.

Do you have pictures of how this mounts to the rear with the lights off? Interested and pricing doesn't seem bad at all for this.

Post 25 shows mine off.

Here a few pics of the mounting:

How did you clear your tailgate with that big of a spacer?
Don't believe you can go with that much smaller of spacer to clear the covers(or whatever the plastic is) in the middle, I used 1/4 " spacer in the middle and 1/2" spacer on the ends, you need to position the light bar as low as possible. Basically the bottom row of led's is flush with top of bumper.

Yours looks like it is almost sitting on the bumper is it?

I hooked up the same light bar last week and mounted it the same. But I wired the reverse light part to the bed light switch on the left side. Now I can turn on the white light anytime from the cab, even when driving forward. Coolest feature ever.

I went with the 48 inch version and didn't use any spacers.

Red or Amber to match the truck...sorry I'm being lazy here and don't want to walk outside and apply the brakes, etc. to check.

I installed mine months ago and be aware when opening the tailgate has a tendency to slightly rub the light bar and will scratch paint

That's the main reason I went 48 inch no spacers so it doesn't stick out and rub the tailgate.

If installed correctly a 60" opt7 light bar CAN be installed with spacers and NOT rub the tailgate. It's not rocket science, plenty of people on the forum have done it.
