Only had my Limited for a week but loving the H.O.!

Awesome!! Good to know for reference, and appreciate the specifics on the Klipsch. I had such high hopes for it. That is the only feature that I’d consider stepping up to the Tungsten for, so gathering reviews.

I think it’s crazy when manufacturers go to all the licensing and technical trouble with a premium system, only to give it a 2 or 3 band eq.

I was really impressed with the Bose in a 17 Silverado, but then felt it lost its clarity and gained a bunch of distortion in a 19 I looked at but didn’t buy when the current Gen came out. Looked (listened) at multiple trucks on the lot. Maybe it was improved later years.

I think Bose generally does a good job creating very clean sound, and the console location of the sub is better in GM trucks vs on the back wall. Lends a pronounced, tight bass response in all positions but without being boomy.

They usually have good midrange punch and volume too, but not always, such as in my wife’s CX-90 Bose system.
mine is a limited level A, the tungsten has a totally different stereo from Infinity and more speakers I believe. I'm not sure though, but I do know it is different than the limited

I wish I had my 2021 Silverado's Bose system in my 2025 Ram Limited. It would be completely satisfying then. the rams aren't terrible but it's not as clean and crisp as the Bose was in all ranges. I really think rams would be better with a better EQ and a console placed or updraft under the rear seat's woofer.

So I think I have a unique perspective on this. I had. 2014 Limited with the Hemi and that thing was solid... I thought it was all the power I would need, then along came my 25 Lonestar with the S.O. and that made me feel like it was indeed punchier than the Hemi and it was super easy to make the rear end come unglued when going through a roundabout... Due to circumstances that arose with my Lonestar I was fortunate enough to be able to get it traded in on a 25 Limited... This past weekend I was on a road trip and came to merge onto a highway from standstill (welcome to Texas where we have intersections on 75 mph highways)... I had no idea how powerful the H.O. was until I found myself fighting to keep it going straight and under 75 mph from a left hand turn when I gave it W.O.T... it's instant.. if there is turbo lag I don't notice it, and it reminds me of my buddy's overseas 2014 V8 Camaro without all the emissions equipment. Just instant power at a blip of throttle in completely stock form.. I can see these trucks pulling sub 5:second 0-60 with the right tires, surfaces and temps. My truck has the 3.92 so I can only imagine what the 3.55 would be like... My 14 had the 3.21, and the Lonestar had the 3.55. But yeah if you get an opportunity to test out an H.O. be careful they are EXTREMELY addictive..
Car and Driver actually clocks it at 4.4 seconds to 60.

I took my Tungsten on a trip from Dallas to Houston last weekend. On the way back I punched it to pass 2 semi trucks hanging out in the left lane. My only complaint from that experience was that seconds after punching it the truck fell completely on its face. The issue was that it had gone so quickly from 70 mph to its max speed of 104 (like within a few seconds) that I had’t even realized how fast I was going. Once it hits that 104 max speed it simply stops accelerating, and it is squarely in its power band when it hits that limit. It felt like it easily had 40 or more mph left on tap in that engine/trans combo

Its the sh#ts when you feel that you have hit the jackpot having driven your $75000 2025 Ram 1500 only 3000 miles and ''its still going well''
Agreed. I mean we didn't make it 1 mile off the lot with my wife's 2023 Honda pilot elite before we had to take it back cause they didn't seal the windshield correctly from the factory... lol. they dont make em like they used to or for as little right?

Good to know... It's beyond easy to hit that without noticing anything.... But hey I remember when 85 was the max speed on some of the cars I had back in the 90s 😆... Can't wait till AlfaOBD is able to change that to closer to 110 or 115... Even with the aero air suspension these things are giant non aerodynamic sails and I don't think it would be easy to safely handle them beyond that (even with sticky tires)...

I've had my limited for about two weeks now. I do miss the sound and engine breaking of my previous 5.7, but this 3.0 is smooth and brisk!

same here still loving my 2025 limited, like you my only negative comment on the HO is the noticeable turbo lag. But it really isn't a big deal hardly notice it unless really getting on it. overall, my only other complaint is the Klipsch stereo doesn't match up to the sound quality of the Bose system I had in my Silverado. Ram needs a 5 bar equalizer on this system.
You have a Limited or a Tungsten? Klipsch in in the Tungsten. However, you might be the only person I have heard that says the Bose sounds better than either the Harman Kardon or Klipsch. I had a 15 Sierra and a 22 Sierra and the Bose systems sucked, especially the 22 because they stopped putting a sub in them altogether. My buddy has a 25 Sierra AT4 and all he ever complains about is his Bose stereo. My HK system is great... I always want more, but the only factory stereo that I have ever had that was better was the Revel stereo in an Aviator.

I have the 25 limited. I messed up my earlier post sorry. My 25 has the Harmon K in it. the Bose is much better than the Harmon not sure on the one in the tungsten.
the Harmon K needs more sound tuning adjustment. they have too much sound coming out of the center dash speaker and it overpowers the rest of the speakers. Bose doesn't have that speaker in the Silverado. ram needs an update to take some of that away from the center speaker and ad a 7-function equalizer and that might make what I have better. too late for mine but they need an updraft woofer in it also. I can hardly get mine to sound good against that cab wall. Silverado's is in the console base, and it thumps.

Yeah, I have a 25 Limited as well. I agree about the center speaker, although turning on surround sound balanced things out better for me. It's crazy though, ask anyone with a current 22+ AT4, Denali, or High Country and they will tell you that the new GM's with Bose don't have a sub at all anymore, so everyone is adding a sub under the seat. Even if I added a sub to the 22 Denali I had, it only sounded good at higher volumes.

Really,
Really, Glad my 24 High country order fell through then. I just got rid of a 21 Silverado LTZ for the Ram and it had the Bose with the Sub and that thing sounded so good. you could crank it up and it was so clear and the bass was nice and crisp. I think if ram fixed the center speaker output or just done away with it and changed the sub this truck would sound pretty good. I am running surround also I tried biasing the sound to the rear a little to offset that center speaker and it just pulled to much away from the front doors and a pillar then and sounded muffled. maybe they can fix it somewhat with a software update.

Still haven't driven it much, but I punched it getting on the interstate this morning and it really pushed me back in my seat. Felt like driving a muscle car back in the day, but without the noise!
I enjoy the noise on my Hellcat....it's very quiet until I nail it, then all hell breaks loose!! LOL>

I bought the 2025 Tungsten 3.0 H.O very happy with it. Bought it 6 days ago. Traded in my 2023 Laramie Ram 5.7. This 2025 is very smooth, very fast. It is much faster than my 5.7 was. My 23 had 4 corner suspension like this one, and they have changed the software on the suspension, It's so much better on the 25. The Klipsch blows the Harmon away pretty bad! Very happy with all the sound. Happy with the POWER!! Hard to believe, all this from a 6 banger! The 392 rear gear handles the get-up and go very well. No issues at all, except it caught me getting sleepy and the drowsy alert went off! Nice feature for me! The seats are far more comfortable than my 23 Ram was. Love the new console design change too. The seat massage goes off after so long, and you must restart it after a while if you still have a desire for it on. The only option I don't care for, the lane assists, still want to butt in when It's turned off. It could be a setting on Cruise Control I don't have set properly as well? Not sure? This truck is really nice. I have the Sea-Salt interior and love it! This truck has so much on it to remember, its like taking a drink of water from a fire hydrant!

I just left a 23 Sierra SLT with the 6.2 for a 25 Ram Limited mainly because of the infotainment system and overall ergonomics of the truck (the 540HP didn't hurt either). I guess I'm just a Ram guy (previously had a '15, '18, and '21), but after 2 years I still had to hunt for controls on the Sierra. Sliding into the Ram was like coming back home and after one week I don't have to hunt for the controls. The Bose system in the Sierra was a joke. The H/K system in my Limited is MUCH better sounding.

I thought the 6.2 with S&B intake and Borla catback was pretty quick for a truck and sounded awesome. My definition of quick, at least for a truck, has changed! The HO rips from ~3500 rpm's up. The sound...
