Drove it home 700 miles from the dealer in Texas and got 21 MPG doing 70-80 mph. Better than I got in my 23 Laramie with the Hemi! Tons of power, and quiet and smooth around town. Hoping to hear from others with the H.O. to see how things are going.

Congrats! I can only imagine how the H.O. feels, the standard output feels much better than my 21 Hemi.

Agreed... If the S.O. feels better... jeeze, what the H.O. must feel like!!!!

Congrats RamBum!!!

Still haven't driven it much, but I punched it getting on the interstate this morning and it really pushed me back in my seat. Felt like driving a muscle car back in the day, but without the noise!

yea, I can't imagine what the high output feels like but the S.O feels a lot punchier then the Hemi did. I had to punch it to avoid some idiot doing a uturn into an intersectiion I was coming into and they truck took off way faster then I was expecing laying down a long patch of rubber.

Have about 2000 miles on mine, daily driver commuting about 80 miles round trip. Routinely at 80mph. Smooth as I would expect from an inline motor. Great acceleration, averaging around 18-19mpg.

I like it, So far I have the dealer not installing the front plate bracket. I usually do put one on it but keeping it looking good is a challenge with all the bugs in the summer and road sand in winter.
Yeah, I put a plastic cover over it and we'll see how it goes!

When my truck wasn't in the shop for a center screen replacement I loved the power, but now its back at the dealer for a CEL light. Service adviser said something about a wastegate duty learn limits exceeded. Will update once I get more info. Not even 500 miles yet and the truck has been in the shop longer than I have been able to drive it. At least I dont have the misfire codes...yet..

How's it going so far with the HO? I have a '24 limited and waiting for my '25 limited to come in..

I am loving my HO! its so smooth that you wonder if its running or not. it does not like to go slow, and it has a ton of power to the point I have to be careful going up a small incline into my drive or it will dig down the limestone. drawback no v8 sound. not a big deal to me. so far, no misfires or check engine lights. as for the rest of it, I'm trying to figure out all the fancy electronics and I think my level on the front may have thrown the ADAS systems for a loop.
but I love this Truck !!!!

Agreed, I have close to 4,000 miles on mine with no issues and it is absolutely scary fast given how quiet it is. I am waiting for MBRP to release their exhaust for the HO - they already have one for the SO. And I wouldn't mind an intake for the sound.

Still loving my truck, couple quirks so far but I found out it’s pretty common and it just needs a BCM update to fix. Mirrors aren’t always adjusting back after folding down when going into reverse. RAM isn’t displaying on the passenger side puddle light consistently and I cannot lower the truck into entry/exit mode with the key fob. Other than that no issues. I’m just being lazy and not taking it to a dealer to update because it’s not things that affect the daily drive of the truck so I’m not in any rush.

2nd key take way I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the full screen backup camera. And also I would like to have proximity lock and unlock not the grab the door handle to unlock but I also don’t think that’s possible.

As for gas mileage my driving is pretty mixed some city some highway everyday with tons of traffic. I’m getting 17mpg and climbing which im impressed by considering I only go 18-22mpg with my jeep cherokee.

how many miles you got on it?
I haven't run a tank of gas through mine yet so it's still calculating avg. milage. I have my outside mirrors set to fold automatically when the truck is locked. I have reverse adjustment turned off; I hate that feature. mine wont full screen the backup cam either. entry exit seems to work though I haven't tried it more than once from the key fob.
my biggest issue is the lane keep assist is very buggy. it works on big roads well but the narrow 2 lane state roads not to well. but that may be self-inflicted because of the level lift and a possible recalibration. but the active cruise controls work well so who knows. I have noticed some quirks with the UConnect sometimes stuff works sometimes not then halfway through my trip to work stuff just magically starts working again. I have to say first impression is that GMs electronics are way more reliable than all this UConnect stuff. but it may just need an update.
I am purposely waiting until 1,000 to 1500 miles to take it in to be checked because they need to correct a slight pull to the right. but I want the suspension to settle in a little more.
this morning the massaging seats just shut off with no warning. yesterday they worked fine all the way to work. I didn't read anything about a timer so who knows.
good news is it came back on with a push of the button.
Also, I noticed my truck wont shift into 8th gear until I hit 63 miles an hour no matter what, very consistent that way. that seems too high of a speed to me to go into high gear and hurting MPG.
what does yours do?
overall, so far, I love it. that is until I have to put the first tank of fuel in it. lol

Do you know if the dealer filled it with premium?
