Thought it was type-o. Took the opportunity to draw some attention to the AFT. Missed the connection with "sloppy speaking slow joe" and his many gaffes. He has had many.
The head of the AFT used to be head of the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) in NYC. The cost of education and the results in NYC are pathetic. They fight hard to keep out the competition (charter schools) and primary concern is their union members. Graduation rates have been manipulated from mayor to mayor, an appropriate grade level exit exam for a diploma would prove disastrous for their stats.

As far as the AFT, they can speak for themselves.
