North Package Question

As I stated before, my dealers DM(district manager) agreed to cut me a check for $450. He said that would take 8-10 days. That was the 16th of July. If it gets cut on day 10, I suspect I'll see it Monday or Tuesday.
My case specialist did call yesterday. I think it was more of a courtesy call than anything (he was unaware of the DM's offer that I accepted). He informed me the issue is moving up the chain of command and they are looking into changing the build website (ramtrucks.com). He did end the call saying he would call my dealer and their DM to, "make sure things are moving along for you(me)"
I would think if you haven't taken screenshots of the "mirrors w/memory" definition connected to your package, you may soon lose that leverage, and they could apply whatever definition they want to your build sheets "mirrors w/memory".
The darn Tow Package...and I was just starting to get over that one.

Thanks...I forgot you got the $450. I have my build sheet which states it, so i am hoping this will give me the leverage needed.
Ramtrucks.com when building a Big Horn, under packages lists "included" items when you hit the tab by your package. The description tab for "mirrors w/memory" is your greatest leverage. It leaves no room for interpretation.
I wouldn't be surprised if you were the spearhead for that.
I was. My case specialist called me to tell me they were working on removing it from the site. That is why I warned you guys.
It was in their best interest to do so.

the memory feature for tow mirrors also is handy when you flip them up down I use mem 1 down mem 2 up for towing this way the mirrors are always in the right spot.i was pissed when I realized I didn't have the feature as in all my laramies.
I know, "pics or it didn't happen"...I recieved my check Saturday.
A co-worker who leased a Big Horn w/ Sport package just made a deal with his dealership for the nice OEM rubber floor mats and a couple free oil change coupons as his compensation for his missing "mirrors w/memory".

Those are fun types of checks to get. I remember one of my favorite checks I ever got was for $25. Years ago my local postal worker was caught stealing mail - he was hoarding it at his house - and 2 pieces of my outgoing mail he stole caused me to get a $25 late fee on a payment I put in the mailbox. In the process of his trial the US Federal Court sent me an affidavit to fill out for any costs I had related to my mail theft (they ID'd me by finding my mail in his hoard). I filled it out and put down the $25 late fee. The guy got convicted and sent to the big house. About 6 months later, I received a check in the mail for $25 restitution from the feds out of his prison work account.
I also got a huge bag of mail about a week after he got arrested - all kinds of stuff; letters from family, a couple of packages, etc.That is a weird mailman. now that I think about it at least in the us your sport package is a Laramie with some changes so why the bbbbeeeepp beeep would they remove the wiring in the Laramie to make it a sport???im thinking some one is feeding us a line of you know what. my sticker on my Canadian sport package shows power folding mirrors with memory is standard so im thinking the wiring is there you just need to add the memory module and switch for it to work???

No "line of....", just go to Ramtrucks.com and check for yourself. Trust me, the Big Horn does not have the proper wiring harness or module under the drivers seat required for "mirrors w/memory.
That being said, you are free to think what you like, you just are not necessarily going to be correct.
If I learned anything from this forum it is that, if your truck didn't come with it you need to add wires and/or aftermarket harnesses to get it. Sub-woofer, speakers, radio upgrade to Nav. and bed lights come to mind. Very few upgrades seem to be simple OEM plug and play like an in dash brake controller is.

You are correct that we have a Laramie Sport with that hood, but the Sport, Black Appearance and North Edition being talked about in this thread is the Big Horn.
