New Sequential Turn Signals For Our Mirrors(Sorry Tow Mirror Guys, Not You..lol)

I have the procharger kit on mine. It wasn’t 10 grand then and it has been super reliable with no issues for 50k+ miles
So, with all the bells and whistles it’s 10k but if you just do the kit stock with Satin finishes it’s still almost 9k. I’ve read that it also helps with MPG which would help with ROI but still can’t justify that type of purchase myself. Did you see any significant change in MPG?

No increase in mpg lol. I average about 15mpg with a level and my big wheels and about 17 without the wheels. The kits have definitely went up by like a couple grand in the past few years. Mine is all polished with the helical gears.

Yeah I figured with your setup you wouldn’t see any improvement if so not noticeable. Man I bet you have a nice set up sounds like it from your signature you got any pics you care to share? Also, how do you like your 5% tint? I have a meeting to get mine done tomorrow with my buddy and can’t decide if I want to go 5%-10% or (my wife’s decision) 20% but it’s my damn truck and I’m the one driving everyday so it’s going to be 5 or 10 lol 😏

Of course I don’t mind sharing some pics lol.
I love my dark tint. With the surround cameras and all it’s just fine as I use them when parking and don’t have to let my windows down when backing and such. I’ve always had 5% on my cars though and love the look of really dark tint on a white vehicle.

Man that is sharp looking I REALLY like your setup.. I am going with the 5% for sure (I have basically everything besides the 360 which I am slowly gathering parts to install soon) what did you use to tint taillights and 3rd brake light? I’ve looked online and reviews of the ones are always that they don’t fit or they screw up after 3-6 months. Also, those rims are… BA!!!

I sent mine off to be painted by smokedtaillights.com. I know he sells painted ones now on his site but I got these done 4 years ago by him and was the first 5th gen set he did so he didn’t have any in stock. I would imagine he may still allow you to send yours in to be painted and he sends them back. I think it was about a week turnaround.

You should record removing the mirror so I know how to do mine

It’s really easy (or was for me) I pushed the mirror all the way down and pushed it a little away from the doors on both sides then used a flat head screwdriver on driver side placed it at 2 o’clock on the passenger side placed it at 10 o’clock and slowly wedged it out and it came out no issues at all it was 40-50 degrees out. I’ve done it twice and never had to replace mine or any issues. I don’t like the suction cup method because people tend to pull to hard and mess something up.

My passenger side mirror glass vibrates at high speeds.
If I tap it strongly with my fingers it wiggles, the driver side does not.

When I made the mirror face down it kind of jumped near the bottom consistently.
The mirror was securely on the motor mount
I took it off today and noticed one of the metal tabs (for the lack of a better term) did not have much grease on it. I used a q-tip to get a glob on it (it was on the plastic like it fell).
I also noticed the right side metal tab was not 100% into it's slot so I moved it back.
The motor mount itself had very little if any play (I did not check it against the driver side).

Besides the metal tabs being in proeprly and some grease to help hold it against the plastic housing what else can I check?
The motor or motor mount itself just had a single screw in the middle and felt secure.
