My Laramie Sport finally made it to the dealer..

I was relieved to see that the interior (And exterior) is mostly black and finally got to see what the wheels look like... picking it up next week and then a thousand mile drive home.

Everyone keeps asking me why I didn't get the black package - honestly I'm not a fan of black wheels OR emblems. LOL. But the rest looks great!

They were about $4000 cheaper than my best local dealer. The experience of buying from them (so far) was so much better that I’m happy to take the road trip home.

I wonder why your sport hood has chrome on the 1500 emblem......mine doesn't, which I'm happy about - but odd to see yours (and I saw another yesterday) with the chrome on the hood.

Are you in Canada? The Canadian Sport has blackout badging but AFAIK all the US "sport" trims have chrome.

I preferred the chrome wheels and generally like the chrome badges, although I may replace those hood emblems with black.

I went all the way across the country. My home dealer where I purchased a Durango in 2014 said I could not order a truck and said they would find one close to my specs at another dealer and do a swap. Well, they tried the swap with vehicles where I only had to sacrifice a few things and not one dealer out west was welling to swap. At that time he offered to order my truck almost a month later so I called my salesman friend on the east coast and ask him what he could do for me and he came back with $2,000 additional savings so I purchased from him. They are shipping it here to a second dealer near me whom I have never worked with to do the dealer prep and release the vehicle to me. It worked out better and no haggling had to occur. Thank goodness for Clash of Clans friends.

Wait, now I'm even more confused, in a quick look at the US config tool, I can't see any way to get the sport hood on anything but a Laramie.. I thought this was an option on other trims previously but maybe I'm wrong. However, I only see laramie sport which is chrome badging and wheels, and laramie black which is black badging and wheels.

I would have preferred less chrome

But yes, I had chrome Ram on the doors (debadged), chrome Laramie badge on the tail, 4x4 (debadged), chrome Ram head....

Yeah, and its a Laramie Sport.

Another thing I have scene is quit a few Laramie sports with the standard Laramie 20" wheels v.s the sport spefic 20's and I don't see that option on the build site.

It’s almost like on the stock orders they make substitutions based on part availability??
