Roberts Dodge service might be the worst place I have ever dealt with. They scheduled service for a recall and two service bulletins regarding the A pillar creaking and brake noise and made me take a morning off from work and when I got there they said it is going to take all day and they can’t give me a loaner so I rescheduled for a Saturday. Then they reschedule my service for two weeks later when they are sure they will have loaners and now they are telling me they may not have the parts. Also I have to wait an hour after they told me to get here to get a loaner. Now I’m being told the parts are on backorder for the bulletin. **** poor excuse when they knew the issue for a month now.

This was over and above any normal service department screw up. I called to schedule service a month ago. They made me come back twice and my truck still hasn’t been even looked at. They knew for a month that they needed parts and never ordered them nor did they call me to postpone my appointment (the second one so far) because they didn’t have parts. Then they made me sit in the service department waiting room for an hour just to tell me they didn’t have parts!

@RamCares may be of some assistance.

Edit: Just to shed some light on this, FCA really holds their dealership shops with a tight leash when it comes to service and ordering parts. There is a complicated system that can hinder shops from providing timely services or getting parts and 5th Gen parts have been hard to get from the get go.

Still, not trying to excuse your dealers bad service.

Rjd25,

Sorry to hear about the issues with your truck.

If you could, please post your dealer experience on the thread below, as we are compiling a list of good/bad dealers to help fellow forum members:
