Good afternoon!

For the month of April we are going to run a special that gives our customers to purchase Mopar Multicare Plus for $699 (tyipcally a $1200+ Price!) with the purchase of any extended warranty coverage. This coverage is for unlimited miles and the same year term as the extended warranty you purchase (i.e. 7 year extended warranty coverage and multi-care coverage).

Once you complete a purchase on our website www.buymoparwarranty.com Please email [email protected] asking for the $699 multi-care special or reply to the confirmation email you receive once purchasing the contract.

For those who may not be aware, Multicare is a coverage that bundles Tire & Wheel (including cosmetic), paintless dent repair, windshield repair, interior/exterior repair, as well as key replacement. I have attached a brochure that explains in detail what all is covered under this program.

Thanks for your support in March!

For any questions please email sales@buymoparwarranty or call 844-900-2654 during our normal business hours.

I'm not good with understanding extended warranties. I just signed up for a 6 year, 85,000 mile warranty thinking that the six years would start from the date of payment. Why does the warranty go back three years for something that was covered under factory warranty? Why do I have to pay for three years that have already passed? The reason I've never payed for a extended warranty when I bought a new vehicle, is because I believe it's redundant to pay for something your already getting free from the factory for three years and what ever mileage.

No problem, warranties can be confusing!

New Vehicle plan coverage and Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle plan coverage begin on the vehicle’s warranty start date (the date the vehicle was delivered to its original owner) and at zero miles. This coverage does not begin upon expiration of the new vehicle warranty.

For example: Your vehicle’s warranty start date is July 1, 2022 and the odometer reads 10,000 miles. You purchase a 5-Year / 100,000-Mile Maximum Care℠ plan on November 1, 2022. Your coverage starts on July 1, 2022 and expires on June 30, 2027 or when your odometer reads 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

This information is also straight off of our website too.

It's a scam no matter how you paint it. It should start from the day I purchase the plan, because I'm paying for years that I didn't own the truck.

That’s an odd point of view. It’s called an extended warranty for a reason - it extends the original warranty. Now if was called a “new warranty from scratch”, you might have a point.

They offer those plans too if you look.
They are obviously more expensive.
The plans are cheaper to buy the earlier you are into your warranty to offset the difference inn cost.

The original warranty from Ram is 3/30,000 miles. Isn't free or some how added when you buy your truck? To my thinking, a extended warranty should kick in after the 3 years. If you buy the warranty the day that you buy your truck, is that being double covered? I plan on keeping my truck, so I guess it is what it is.

It's not a scam if you read the contract terms. You admitted in your prior post you don't understand the warranty so that pretty much explains your position.

6/85K is the entirety of the contract from the original purchase date and mileage. If you needed something longer, then cancel the contract and buy the right one. You may be able to extend it, that's one thing I'm not versed on.

I bought an 8/60K for my truck as that was the longest I could go and I don't expect to exceed 60K in 8 years. Pretty simple.

They're not charging you for the original warranty period. Maybe that's the part you don't get. In essence, you're paying for the "extension," hence the term "extended warranty."

I think this helps me understand a little better and thanks for your input. I've never accused of being the smartest frog in the pond.😁

So I am 2 weeks away from hitting 3 years on my 2021 1500 Laramie. Getting letters from Mopar about extended warranty. My truck has never been to the dealership for any thing. No water leaks so far. I change my own oil every 5K miles. Use Mopar filters and approved Pennzoil.

Curious for the members opinions on the value of extending the warranty. I am at 20100 miles, so I am a low mileage retired owner. Looking a Maximum Care, 60K miles, 7 years for $1205.00.

I have mostly been of the opinion that any real problems should shake out in the first three years. Any real expenses would probably happen after this warranty expires. But if the exhaust manifolds or lifters go in the next four years I easily break even. Hoe likely am I to get rejected by the dealer for changing my own oil and not having dealer receipts for oil changes.

Any and all opinions appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

We are still doing $25 over dealer cost on new and used vehicles!

Used plans do have some requirements--- 2014 or newer, under 80,000 miles and once the factory warranty (3yr/36k) runs out (and inspection is needed as well).

Our specialist is happy to help answer any questions you may have!

Let us help you start the process.

Call our specialist at 515-999-8263 or 844-570-2507!!

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hey Gary,

You will need to have documentation of when you changed the oil- miles and date of the oil change. You may need oil receipts as well as filter purchases, just in case. (always good for records)

With Maximum Care, it takes care of electrical or mechanical components. So changing your own oil would not void the warranty or make you not eligible.

EXCITING NEWS!!🙂

As many of you guys know, we have been working on improving our Mopar Warranty site! There are still areas where we are working on with our website, but our Payment Plan is up and running!🤗

How to get started:

1. Go to Mopar-backed Extended Warranties - Buy Mopar Warranty and put in your vehicle information. (Make, Model, Year, Miles, and your State).

2. Answer the questions regarding your vehicle and the use.

3. Choose your plan (Powertrain, added care plus and/or Maximum Care) If you just want Powertrain, just click on Powertrain.

4. Choose your deductible along with the miles/years you want for your ESP.

5. As you click on those options, your monthly payments will show up.

Example of the Chart (Based off of a 2024 Jeep Compass with 1600 miles) :

I do keep a notebook with dates and mileage for all work and I have the receipts.

I just signed up for 7yr/60000ml Max Care which should cover me for 4 more years since I probably won't hit the 60000 miles.

Happy Monday Everyone 🙂

I just wanted to reach out regarding our $25 Over Dealer Cost as well as the Payment Plan Option!

The $25 Over Dealer Cost is still going on this month! This pertains to every Warranty we offer, this would apply to.

Since the Payment Plan Option is now up and running, it will help those who would prefer to make payments monthly instead of all at once! This is exciting!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

If you have any questions, feel free to respond to this post or call 515-999-8243 or 844-900-2654.

Thank you!
