Hey All,

Well before the release of the 2022 TRX, I have been waiting for parts to come in for my 2019 Rebel. The parts have FINALLY arrived (3 months later) and I am starting the project in 2 weeks. Here's what's being done:

* 6" Coil Over BDS lift kit with upper control arms
* XD137 FMJ 20 x 12 (-44 offset) matte black wheels
* 37 x 13.50 Ridge Grapplers
* Fiberwerx Widebody kit
* Whipple supercharger (for the 5.7)

I'll update this thread as the build progresses, but I'm SUPER excited to see how it'll turn out.

You building the block or just bolting on the Whipple?
Just bolting on the whipple for now, and getting a good tune on it. See how that does and go from there. Car only has 30K on it. So, engine is still fairly fresh.

Interested to hear more details about the whipple, is it a kit or are you piecing it together?

Just bolting on the whipple for now, and getting a good tune on it. See how that does and go from there. Car only has 30K on it. So, engine is still fairly fresh.
TRX has 80% more power. Bolting on a Whipple is probably good for around 25 - 30% more (reliably)

To push that much weight and that much tire around, you'll want more than what a stock block can offer.

Either way, looking forward to your build (y)

While tall lift kits are great for the mall and plowing through mud, a 6 inch lift lift would mess with stability for high speed off road. You could probably squeeze 37s on with a 3” and fiberglass. Regardless, to each his own and I’m also excited to see the results. Will you be upgrading the rear shocks? I looked into the 2” kit but ultimately went with king 2.5 resis front and rear and the BDS UCA.

Whipple says that right out of the box it'll give me 150 - 170HP with a super safe tune, bringing it to approximately 570HP. Plenty for a pick up truck, in my opinion. With exhaust, intake, and pulley, and a bit more aggressive tune, I could get pretty close. I have a built motor on standy by, but don't really see a reason to swamp it until the stock goes on me.

I've done a ton of research on "best fit", while being a bit bottle-necked in what is currently available. In a perfect world, I would have a long travel kit by Dirt King Fabrication with King shocks, but they still haven't built the parts for a '19 and up Ram Rebel.

So, my back-up plan is the BDS 6" lift, -44 (12 wide) wheels that'll widen the truck stance about 6 - 7 inches. Then the Fiberwerx wide-body kit would help close that gap from the wheels sticking out. If I keep the ride height at the minimum (coil overs allow lots of adjustment), I can still have a lot of what I need. The 37's close the gap to fender even more to help it look more like the prerunner I'm going for.

Yes, I purchased the Fox 2.5 for both front and rear, fully DSC adjustability.

Yeah, I think too much! LOL!!!

The Ram goes in for body panels Saturday. Let's see how bad of a process this really is.... First step is the fenders, by Fiberwerx. I'll post pics of the process as it goes. Thanks for your interest, guys!

I already have 3:92 gears on it now, but you are right. Those are some big tires. May need to go into the 4's...
