That's a lot of range. Always good to see happy owners. Too often we only go to forums to complain.

I saw 702 miles to empty once traveling from Michigan to Florida last September. I'm usually seeing 600+ on fillups. On the other end I've seen 320 or 330ish miles to empty when filling up pulling my trailer 1200 miles.

WTH haha, well downhill with a tailwind right?

I think my tank said 432mi range when I got a fresh tank, but that went down to 330ish pretty quickly when I started driving... WISH I had the 33, but I've also noticed that I need to stretch every few hours of driving anyway

What’s the normal size tank on these 2019 limiteds? Is it 20? Asking because I only have 20, but on my sticker it says extra 5 gal.

The only regret I have is not going for the larger fuel tank in my 2019 Rebel. As much highway driving as I do the extra fuel would be beneficial. I checked the boards and saw some pricing but if anyone has any recent pricing for the conversion I would love to see it.

So far I like the 33 gallon tank, except when I have to fill it up. Ive had the truck for 2 weeks now. The 33 gallon tank was a requirement for me. My F150 had a 36 gallon tank and I wanted a similar range.

Damn I filled up today and it stopped at 20 hmmmmmm
Depends. If you have eTorque the standard tank is 23. 26 is the standard tank on all others. Unless you run out of gas you will never put 23, 26, or 33 gallons in. People have made everything have to be fool proof. So even at 0 miles to empty there is a good chance you still have the better part of 2 gallons left.

And the extra 5 gallons on build sheets is the 5 gallon of gas the factory puts in.

I’m in OKC now, cheapest 10% ethanol is $2.16, average at stations is in the low 2.20’s. Thats about 30 cents less than home in Raleigh. This is where the 33 gallon tank would be nice.

I drove up from Dallas today on I-35, North Tx certainly is Ford country. I’ll wager that nearly 3 out of every 4 trucks were Fords, and half of those were Superduty’s...

That extra five gallons is actual gas that came from the factory.

I had a 2016 F150 FX4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost but stuck with the 23 gallon tank. How was that even considered to be the stock size???

Anyway, I drove 3 counties away, past 7-8 dealerships, to find my Ram specifically for the 33 gallon tank. Almost every dealer in South Florida stocks 26 gallons only.

I’ve put over 31 gallons in my 33 multiple times. 31.4, 32.1, etc. Still showed 10 miles to empty.

I never saw this kind of range until I went over 15K miles and switched to Mobil 1 Full Syn 0-20W

OK, I'm going to have to try the full synthetic next time if for no other reason. Your truck is only 200# lighter than mine so I should get closer to your numbers.

I see that often on highway trips. I had a nearly 21mpg average on my recent trip from Cincinnati to Atlanta except for the final 100 miles, then it dropped to 20.2mpg due to weather and wind resistance due to storms.

All that with 3.92 gears and cruise set at 72mph.
