This looks cool but it is a little pricey!! Looks like part #5YE132X7AG Console Cup Holder with Doors $478.51 plus shipping. Just Ordered my 2020 5th Gen will see what happens I've been known to spend for things like this we'll see when it gets here.

a few guys have done it...in fact someone was selling a few of the pricier part needed for the swap on ebay for around $250 if you look around a bit.

Center Console Slider Swap (Rebel to Limited)
So, I had been eyeballing this as a possible modification for quite some time and was unsure if it was possible. I posed the question but no one really had an answer, so I just up and did it. I swapped the sliding center console cupholder/tray compartment in my Rebel for a Limited compartment...

So why dont they fit, i was peeking at this for the potential to add the longhorn wood door cupholder setup, since it matches the brown and beige. do our Southwests have different Trays because of the safe?

True statement. Will not fit if you have a console safe.
You would probably have to switch to a console safe that’s made for a Limited like a Lock’er down that has a smaller profile then you can use the limited cup holder door.
