Let’s see your coffee mug!

From Saturday. Every Saturday (that I'm not at an ice rink or camping) for the past 10 years after college, I've got up at 6 and gone to breakfast with my dad and all his old work buddies from the gas company. They're all retired now, so as the young guy with the best eyes, I've been elected the treasurer for splitting up the bill.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever read.
 
Years ago I took my 8 year old godson to see the Guardians of the Galaxy. He loved it. He also thought I loved it as much as he did and convinced his mother to buy this so he could give it to me. The good thing is that it is huge and holds a lot of coffee.

Yep, started out in a weird way. I was a Jeremy Shockey fan, and he got traded down from the Giants to NO, and I moved down there in 2008. Then they won the SuperBowl and I take full credit for moving there and becoming a fan! 🤣🤣 I’ve been a fan ever since, even when got Shockey got traded to Carolina (I think). Unfortunately now I live in “Deadskins” area.
 
I became a fan because someone I played with in school ended up playing for the Saints. So I became a Saints fan in the late 80s. He actually played for 5 teams but I stuck with the Saints - thru a lot of painful years !
I actually hated Shockey. I didn't like how he acted on the field for the Giants (I'm in NJ so I preferred the Giants over the Jets as my local team), and I thought he was going to be a horrible mistake for the Saints. But he was a different guy on the Saints. He was more team oriented and less ME oriented.
 
Love this thread! Probably have 40 coffee mugs and for travel, the stainless steel tall Contigo is the go-to (not pictured). For some reason, I like Star Buck mugs but not their coffee. I enjoy the occasional mocha venti and the lemon pound cake so if I see a cup I like I just get it. My coffee of choice at home is Melitta Columbian Blend and every day on the way to work it's the super refined hand-picked and individually selected for maximum quality McDonald's .99 cent McCafe (via app for that price point). :) The blue mermaid cup is my favorite :) just because of the shape and size so save the mermaid jokes you animals.

PS If you haven't had these wonderful caramel-filled waffles, you're missing out.

On a side note, I saw the talk about the Saints. One of the rookies this year is Alontae Taylor - he was the 49th overall draft pick (2nd round). He’s the son of one of my employees.

One of this year's gifts from our local hospital golf tournament. Can coozie with the clear lid removed. Coffee cup with the lid installed. Pretty slick.
