If this is already listed somewhere, mods please delete. I figure this is a good way to share good / not so good experience in our quest for lifting. Also gives new forum members a chance to see what options are or will be available to them. Again if this has already been posted please delete this in its entirety.

2019 Laramie ORP, BDS 6" IFS with BDS UCA's and Fox rear shocks. Nitto Ridge Grapplers 12.5 x 35. Fuel Vectors 18 x 9 Zero offset 5" backspace.
Several notes...
1) When I lifted mine, BDS was the only one that allowed 18" wheels (v 20's +) on a 6" kit. I went with 18's because on wanted more sidewall on 35's.
2) I discovered in the process not all rims are alike on clearances. My first choice of rims (same published size, offset, backspace) would not fit because they didn't clear the brakes. Probably not an issue on 20's. Very happy with my 2nd choice, however.
3) The BDS kit replaces the rear springs. Therefore, it's recommended on ORP's that you leave out the preload spacers on front to achieve a level stance. I'm about .5" high in front because that did not get communicated to the Tech that did the install.
4) Even though 5" backspace works, my tire is very close to the steering knuckle. It's been ok in mud and snow but I haven't tested it when aired down during more serious off-roading. Thinking I'll be ok but it might rub if the tire bulges toward the knuckle when the it's flexing against a rock. I refuse to install wheel spacers so don't go there :)

I’m on their 4” lift paired with front and rear Fox shocks. Wheels are 20x10 Fuel Blitzs Platinum -18 offset. Tires are Nitto Grapplers G2 sized 35x12.50 and I have a slight rake. 36766182-E039-4A0D-8099-1F917EA9A27F.jpeg E7207F97-460C-41A9-931D-143A9F7997B6.jpeg

Perfect, I’m going to order the exact set so I’ll have winter wheels for my 18” tires. Thank you for the information.

BDS 6” lift. 37 12.5 r20. No rubs, but the inner fenders were modded to allow for the extra space. Love the look!!

Inspired. So I ordered BDS 4” with rear Fox, Fuel Rebel 20x9 with +1 offset in anthracite, and Falken Wildpeaks 35x12.5. Now waiting on parts. Will post pics when done.

In the meantime, any tips, tricks, or suggestions?

BDS 4" w/ rear fox. Factory rebel 18" wheels. KO2'S 35x12.5x18. 1.5" hubcentric spacers.

Cannot complain abt the setup at all. Way better than the previous level kit and the readylift 3.5" that were on it. Only thing I want to do is replace the factory Hitachi struts. Want to replace with 5100's. 20200317_203331.jpg

I've installed dozens of suspension systems over the years, and several of those have been on A-arm IFS trucks like ours. I have never had such a difficult time with the differential drop bracket setup... This one is tucked up and hidden, and I simply could not for my life assemble the correct combination of wobble joints and extensions to gain access. Ended up removing the driver side motor mount with the differential and installing the drop brackets on the bench, then bolting it all back in place. Have no idea how to do it per the instructions??

A lot of really nice set ups shown. How is everyone liking their BDS set up? Did any of you have a lift/level on this ram previously before going to BDS? I currently have a 2" RC Level kit, but am thinking about upgrading. I was going to go Mopar/ORP route but seems expensive for what you get. Just wanted to get feedback on those of you with real lifts to see how you like it?

Well, I had the 2.5 level first and it was a bit higher in the front than the rear. Rode like a stiff brick.

Went to a reverse level afterwards with 2” lowering coils on the rear and it rode just as good if not better than OEM.

Got rear ended and decided to swap it up and went with a RC 6” and was unhappy. Rode like crap and it started coming apart after 3k miles.

That’s when I went with BDS and I haven’t looked back. Rides great. Tows great. No tire rub with 37’s.

@too many taco's... your truck looks amazing. Thanks for the feedback. my 2" level seemingly has a nice nose although i've never measured.
