Leather dash lifting and bubbling

Just to confirm and I don't mean to change the subject. The dash on 2025 Laramie's are no longer leather - correct?
I don't think there was ever a time when the Laramie had a leather covered dash was there? Certainly not on 5th gens for sure, but I can't speak to other gens.

Dropped off @ 0730 and picked up @ 1600 yesterday. Total out of pocket was $382. Happy with the results and no squeaks or rattles. Let's just see how long this one lasts now...

Glad it worked out, looks just like my replacement dash. It's curious how they come up with the customer goodwill pay amount $$ number though, I guess it's the mileage difference between yours and mine since yours only ran out of time, assuming still under 36k or 50k miles. Either way, I'd be happy to pay yours or my customer pay amount to get a new dash

2019 ram 1500 limited leather dash coming up dealership and warranty not replacing it. Have any one find a repair solution for this yet?
I am experiencing the same issues. Very frustrating

Does anyone have any documentation on this goodwill program? I had my dash replaced once already under warranty a couple of years ago, but it's far worse this time. Any program name or number to reference. I just have a feeling I'll be told they've never heard of this goodwill program.

For the record, I never put any chemicals on my dash, my windows are ceramic tinted, and it usually not in direct sunlight. But I do live in central Texas, so it is HOT.

5 months of Big Stella being an absolute ****, but I finally have an appointment to get the dash done this Tuesday. Ended up where I'll pay about tree fiddy as a "deductible".

IM INTERESTED IN HOW YOU MANAGED TO WORK WITH THEM AND GET IT COVERED ? WHAT WAS THE TRICK TO GETTING THEM TO ACCEPTING LIABILITY AND APPROVING THE REPAIR?

I walked in to the service department and simply asked. I told them that I'd read that Ram was good willing the leather Limited/Longhorn/TRX dashes. He wrote it up, entered data in the system and came up with my copay, 10 min.
They saw my attempts at repair on the old dash as well and said nothing

They know what it is, walk in and ask them, be polite.

I figure next time I go in for service I’ll ask the guy I’ve been working with (last 2 trips) and see what he can do. We’ve built some rapport and he seems willing to go up and above to help. Fingers crossed he can get it done on a 4 owner truck with 100k miles 😂

I also have a 2019 1500 Limited with exactly the same problem. I am fortunate that I have a great dealership here in Sussex DE. I took it in and the girl in charge of warranties came out and took pictures and submitted them to RAM. She said that RAM knows they have a problem across the model lines with this and they have been doing "good will" replacements. Before I left I knew that RAM would pickup 60%. My cost ended up being $400. Took 4 months to get the part being made in Texas. The problem I was told that the dashes made in Mexico used the wrong, or inferior glue when the dash was assembled. Dash is fixed and the job was perfect!!

I still think that RAM should have issued a recall on this and picked up the entire cost, but I'll take what I can get.

That's great to hear. Wonder how we know which dashes were made in Mexico? Mine's a 2021. No problems yet, but it is garaged most of the time we aren't using it.
