The tires that came stock on all Rams (at least the 3 I have owned) suck. Going to replace them with something else. I've always thought the tires look a little small, even for stock. What are the largest size that can be installed without rubbing or lifting/leveling kits? I'd want it to work with all air suspension settings.

There's a ton of post on this already, try searching. If I remember right you can get almost a 34" tire to fit on the limited but your issue will be the choices are also limited and usually in a 10 ply which may decrease your ride quality. That's why I opted for a smaller rim so I could get more choices in tires that were not a 10 ply.

I put 33" x 12.5R22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's on my 2019 Limited with Air Suspension and have zero rubbing issues with no lift or leveling. See picture in my avatar.
Your truck looks awesome, that's what I'm going for, thanks!

the biggest passenger/touring tire that's available is a 275 50 22..... I replaced my forty-fives with these and it looks a little better and rides better but there's no 55 available in 22 without going into off road truck tires

Thanks for the info. I too will be looking at replacing shoes by next summer. The stock touring tire works ok but I just don't like the look of it and hope to get a more aggressive siping/tread pattern. By summer of 2020 there might be a few more options with a 50 or 55 series. Currently Discount and Tire Rack only suggest the 285/45. I guess I will need to shop specifically by the tire as opposed to choosing the truck year/model to get more options.

Trying to find something taller and a mild AT as opposed to big wheels/tires.

This kinda feels a little silly. I want a tire thats x taller than i have and x wider. should be simple but the truth is far from it.

I think we can fit 34" tall tires without much modifications. Seems to be so few options.

Just too new yet for a lot of sizes to choose from. It was the same thing with 20’s. My 14‘ Ford came with 20’s stock and it was expensive to find a new set a couple years ago. I ended up going back with factory tires but didn’t want to.

I tried getting a truck with 20’s (Ltd) but somewhere in the fall of 2018 RAM started putting 22’s on. My dealer wouldn’t swap them out either.

Do we think we're a year out from new sizes? 22"s are becoming more standard now; seems the manufacturers would want to jump on the bandwagon.

Your avatar doesn't do this justice. Please take a few close-up pics and better side pics so we can see the real look of the truck with the 33's on her.

Did you have to recalibrate to get an accurate speed on the speedo?

I believe the tire makers are gearing up with 22’s yes. I looked on the F150 forum and there’s a few threads on 22’s however many of the 2017-2019’s come with 18” AT’s or 20 street tires stock. One guy changed over to this combo: “Pictures of my new setup: 22x9.5 Dub Ballers wrapped in Nitto 420 305/45/22 tires. They are much wider than the original 275/55/20 Pirelli's that came with the truck. They feel much more stable and I love them so far.”

I will get some better pics posted asap.

Yes, I did adjust the speedometer using the DiabloSport Pulsar piggyback computer (love it BTW).

Standby....

My tires are 305/45/22 (32.8" height, 12" width, 5.4" Rim to tread) and do rub a little at full turn in Aero, sometimes they rub in Normal at full turn depending on payload and the bump size. The 275/50/22" (32.8" Height, 10.8" width, 5.4" Rim to tread) are probably the tallest tire you can go with that won't rub at all (except maybe in Entry/Exit height) since they are 1.2" skinnier in width but the same 32.8" height.

do you need a leveling kit with a smaller tire ?

I can't imagine why you would need a leveling kit with a smaller tire, but I'm no expert for sure. I was going to add the 2" leveling kit for looks alone.

I did 34.34” tires , it’s a 285/55/22 nitto g2 and have very minor rubbing at full lock only on right wheel I’m still playing with inner wheel well and have it all but fixed with minor trimming
