Is the standard gas tank on the eTorque Hemi 23 gallons or 26?

Ugh. I found a truck I like that has everything but the 33, but not sure I am willing to give up 150 miles of range.

That is why I am so confused. Some people swear they have a 23 gallon, but others are saying 26.

I think it's pretty clear. It's right on the window sticker. Just look at the sticker of any truck you're considering and the 26 gallon tank should be listed right under the Hemi ET engine option.

I think it depends on the trim, my ET bighorn has a 26 gallon but I had to check the 26 gallon option when I ordered it.

Mine's a Big Horn. Only options on mine are 4x4, Hemi ET, & Level 2 group. Maybe it was different in '19? Mine's a '20.

Edit- even on the '19 Build & Price website (which has admittedly never been 100% accurate) the Hemi ET lists a 26 gallon tank as included.

Edit 2- I now see that the 26 gallon tank only appears to be standard w/ Hemi ET on quad cabs. Crew cabs they are optional or nonexistent depending on trim.

Some of the etorque 19 models came with 23 gallon tanks I remember. Mine has a 26 and I think I remember at least the longhorn and limited crew cab etorque models came with the 26 with the 33 optional.

My 2020 Laramie crew cab etorque has a 23 gallon tank. If you are unsure what size your tank is check your build sheet. I wish I would have known this before I bought my truck because I probably would have kept looking. I've seen instances where the window sticker was not accurate, but the build sheet is always correct.

Screwing around with the build and price site some more (which, again is not 100% accurate), it appears that the 26 gallon is included w/ Hemi ET on quad cabs, but on crew cabs (depending on trim) it can be optional or not offered at all. So confusing. Sorry for adding to the confusion.

Possible. Mine is Quad Cab. Could it be that the crew cab's floor storage bins in the rear, (which QCs don't have) restrict the space for the gas tank?

I don't think so, as the 26g tank is optional on some crew cab trims, but not all. You can get a 26g on a Laramie crew for example, but on a Limited the only options are 23g or 33g.

FWIW, 26 gallon tank was listed as standard equipment on my build sheet.

At least for the Laramie, I figured it out: if you have a base or Level 1 Laramie, you get 23 gallon tank. If you buy the Level 2 package, you get the 26 gallon. 33 gallon is optional on both.

I could have sworn the ET was supposed to come with a 23 gallon. My window sticker doesn't say anything and the Mopar website for my VIN shows 26 gal but I could have sworn when I was close to E on fuel it only put 22 gal in? Also my dash reports 16.2 mpg avg and calculates just under 400 mi range, which would be 23 gal?

Not true, I have a 2020 Laramie ET L2 with a 23.

My limited came with a 26 gallon standard. I have put over 24 gallons in so I know it’s bigger than 23.
