These days they won't know what to fix the unless the part falls off the truck and stubs someone's toe in the shopFrankly, they should already know about it!
Hope they get it straightened out for you! The ANC software update was a fairly common problem back when the 5th gens came out. But whatever it is, hopefully they get it fixed.Update on the intermittent low base hum and vibration. So as I said before I managed to get the truck to Chapman Dodge, Chrysler, etc in Yuma Arizona while the intermittent problem was actually happening. The mechanic drove the truck with me and confirmed an unknown problem. It has been a week, and the dealer notified me that they found the problem, and are waiting on parts. As soon as I find out what they found I will let everyone know what they found. PS , Moosum they had no idea of what it could be, when I took it to them. Hope they are not just guessing, they seemed pretty sure they found it.
I’m glad they got it fixed for you.Update on intermittent noise or as Chrysler is calling it growling noise.. Moosem you were exactly right, they had to update the software for the ANC, however they had no idea what it was until I gave them the bulletin that I printed out from the link you provided. Had other problems pop up, cracked exhaust manifolds that were replaced, but it was all under an extended warranty that I had. How can you have cracked manifolds at 14k miles and no codes thrown. What the _ell!
