Carpet was not wet, no mold, no apparent signs of water intrusion.was the carpet wet too? Just wondering how much of a leak will cause those issues.

Not going to take a whole lot of moisture to eff up that circuit board.Didn't have these available on initial post
Dealer say NO, and to contact Ram. Found Extended Warranty TSB for Frame, Mine was build 8 months after last date listed in TSBThe 3 year 36k warranty should cover that.
The rear window FRAME is broken, the rear window FRAME is leaking, not the glass, a big difference when it comes to warranty coverage.

Maybe they could do this instead of replacing the backglass. Maybe a cheaper route. This is what they are doing to mine since this supersedes the previous back glass replacements.Tried chatting with the Ramcares folks on this forum to see if they were any help. They basically said sorry about your luck.
I did that after the warranty replacement failed.Maybe they could do this instead of replacing the backglass. Maybe a cheaper route. This is what they are doing to mine since this supersedes the previous back glass replacements.
I actually asked the dealer about that when I was there getting service. I knew there was a service bulletin for the previous years and the tech who showed me where the leal was coming from had mentioned it is well where they would spray or put a bead of sealant to correct it. When I asked the service advisor as well as the supervisor I was told it did not apply to my truck and they would not do it.Maybe they could do this instead of replacing the backglass. I did that on a new truck, LOLI did that after the warranty replacement failed.
Just do it your self, about 18 bucks worth of permatex flow-able sealant and painters blue masking tape. IIRC.I actually asked the dealer about that when I was there getting service. Yeah I plan to just sucks I had to find this in January. Going to be like -6 here tonight. Guess I'll be swapping towels for a whileJust do it your self, about 18 bucks worth of permatex flow-able sealant and painters blue masking tape. IIRC.
I doubt very much they ll find it on the turn in inspection, Also don t think they ll be checking service records. just not the norm at lease Turn ins. Unless there something visible they can see on an inspection, like wet carpets. Even that s a long shot IMO.So here's a question... My lease is up in March now that I've taken this in and declined service if I turn my lease in do they check anything to see if you didn't repair a known issue etc?
Working well so far? No Leaks after adding the adhesive?I did that after the warranty replacement failed.
Good so far.Working well so far? No Leaks after adding the adhesive?
Thanks. Dealership should have the adhesive and third brake light this week and I have my follow up next Tuesday. Anything I can do to help prevent water intrusion until then?Good so far.
After thorough washing and drying of the space, I applied the RTV all the way across and half way down the sides for a good measure.
