I got some TRX take offs on my Rebel

Glad i found this forum thread! I bought TRX takeoffs and am waiting to install.

For anyone wondering, the OEM Rebel stud length (with brake rotor still on) is exactly 40mm. Additionally, the stud "pocket" on the back of the TRX wheels measured in at just over 11mm.

I measured because i wanted to run the smallest spacer possible, I've ordered a 1.25 inch spacer (31.75mm) which should leave me with about 2-3mm of stud pocket clearance.

If anyone is interested i can take pictures of everything when i do the install.

Thanks 👍
Did you ever get set up with the 1.25 inch spacers? Would like to see picks and hear your opinion on the setu.

Just added these beauties this weekend. 20x10 trx reps from ebay 295/65r20 1.5 in spacer. Had to do some trimming and grinding to fit still a slight rub full turn in reverse. Other than that ride beautifully

Here are photos of my Limited with TRX wheels.

1.5" BORA spacers in front
1.75" Bora spacers in rear.
2" Daystar/Revel level
nice looking set up, just curious - what made you go with 1.75 in the back?

I have 2020 Big Horn I will attempt to add TRX take offs. 2" level was leaning towards 1.5 spacers all around.

The front wheels sit wider than the rear so people often run a staggered spacer combo to get them close to the same width.

I’m about to do the 1.5” bora wheel spacers and stock trx wheels/tires on my truck here soon. Anybody running this combo have any issues after having them installed for some time?

I’m also thinking about doing this to my truck, will follow up on this thread. Are you doing a lift also?

I already have the factory mopar lift kit with orp springs so 3” lift all around.
I don’t have any concerns of rubbing with my lift kit and 1.5” spacers. Mainly just wanting to hear about ride quality and any potential issues running the spacers long term.

Yeah that’s my only concern why I haven’t pulled the trigger.

As long as you get hub centric spacers and don’t get a crazy 2”+ spacer you are good. I had 1 1/2” spacers on my truck for a year and change and had 0 issues and no driving characteristics changed for me.

just completed the TRX tire upgrade on my 2020 Big Horn. 1.5" BORA spacers, Rough country 2" level, loaded strut.

Slight rubbing. Had to remove the front mud flaps and hammer away the mounting clip. Used heat gun to re-mold the front bumper liners away from the rub area.

Completely changed the look of the truck. With the 1.5" spacer, it sits a bit wider than I like but overall very happy with the upgrade.

Also, replaced Halogen lights with OEM LEDs.

The factory TRX tires make it wider. If you put the factory Rebel tires on those wheels, with the 1.5" spacers, it'll look much better. My truck has the factory 275-70 18 on the TRX wheels. The extra width of the TRX tires really stick out.

I think it looks killer definitely a good move!

I'm no mechanic, but i've read every thread on here about Rebel's with TRX takeoffs. What i've taken from you all is at bare minimum you'll need at least a 3/8 or 1/2" spacer in order to clear the UCA? As well as some slight trimming of the inner fairing and that a lift kit is basically user preference. Can anyone confirm this?

I ask because i park in a small garage and would like to stay away from lifting the truck as it will be unlikely still clear my garage (it's already very close (2-3") as a stock Rebel).

Also, those of you who went with the 1.5" BORA spacers, did you have to trim your OEM lugs?
