I notice it's a lot hotter at the bottom than the top. I've used mine a few times but actually my hands don't really get cold so it's of marginal use to me. But I do like that it comes on when I start the truck remotely :)

I’ll trade you my wheel for yours, I feel like mine doesn’t do anything but get warm in two places around the wheel.

Same with mine. The heated steering wheel in my 2013 was very warm, I had to turn it off most of the time. This heated wheel in my 2019 barely
Produces any heat, I have noticed to spots are very slightly warmer but it isn't enough to mean much.

So my bighorns heated wheel barely gets warm. Two spots on the bottom, then kinda fades away. My buddy just got a Laramie and his is hot as hell. Im convinced mine is defective. I did just recently have two recalls fixed, but its always been really weak. Debating on taking in for service.

I noticed the same yesterday the leather part of the wheel from 3:00 down to 9:00 gets very hot but not too hot. But the upper part which is the pinstripe plastic trim unlimited does not get nearly as hot just slightly warmed not sure if the element goes underneath it there or it's just residual heat from the much hotter leather area. Assuming that's normal and it sounds like other people experienced the same. Can others confirm?

I find this wheel gets way too hot. Anyone else feel that way? Maybe something is wrong with mine.
I find mine is also uncomfortably hot in certain areas, yet almost without heat in other areas. Almost as if the heating element is not uniformly applied. That is how i would explain mine.

Mine is definitely much hotter at the bottom than at the top. Doesn't bother me because it's not really that cold around here that I would use that feature often. I think I used it 3 or 4 times this winter. Mostly I find the whole wheel too hot unless I have gloves on, in which case I don't really need a heated steering wheel :)
