Hood light mod from Flux Geare

There are several sizes, first I purchased 70" , which is too short, I returned and got 79". This strip have quality problems, end caps not sealed at all, plenty bad reviews are claiming that strip failed 2-3 weeks after installation. I made some improvements by superglue for mine, hope it will last longer.
I know this is an old post, but I just ordered the 70" and waiting for it to be shipped.

How did the 79" work, is it not to long? I was thinking about do you get it under the corners of the fenders between the light and the corner?

Any pictures?

For me even 79" is too short, I believe 85" is the best. Gap between the fender and the light is big enough just to push the strip inside. Mine is still working fine.

I forgot this was a thing.
Mine is still sitting coiled up in my basement.
I think this will be a tomorrow project.
