Hey guys/gals.....Just picked up our Rebel today from the dealer. Traded in our 17 2500 Cummings for the 1500. Salivating and waiting for aftermarket support to come out for the new body style.

Mike it truthfully sucked. I bought the 2500 brand new as a surprise for the wife to replace her Tundra. 3 recalls, 2 dead batteries, leaking transmission, seized power steering pump all before it hit 16k. The icing on the cake was the transmission blowing the 5th gear out last week. It was time to cut bait and move on.

Yeah a lot of horror stories with the 66 and the 68RFE. Transmission tuning seems to help things but it's a ticking bomb when you add power.Stay away from anything with a 68RFE, I was going to go 2500 Power Wagon with a 392 until I found out it had the same weak transmission in it.
