The bottom on my driver side has a mind of its own. Some days it comes on some days it doesn't. Some days it comes on after turning a blinker on or locking/unlocking the truck.

HELP! - Limited DRL LED Accent Light Not Working Only On Drive Side

Hello curious as to what you did regarding the headlights with the drl having the issue on driver side and out of warranty not having much luck finding a new headlight that is not damaged any insight would be appreciated thank you

I know it's been a few years but I just read your post. Where you able to find a fix for your driver side accent light been out? I'm having the same problem also driver side. Thanks
Any luck changing the headlight ballast on your 2019 led ram?

I’m pretty sure this is not cause by the ballast. The ballast is solely for the hi/low beam. I have not changed on my ram but changed a ballast on my wife’s Pacifica when her low beam on passenger side died

Has nothing to do with the ballast, that is an LED strip, integrated part of the headlight and not repairable by most of us mortals.

Mine is still broken. Gonna inspect the wiring harness and hope it's in there. One guy said that was his issue.

Mine works some of the time and doesn't the other times. It makes no sense.
I replaced both LED headlights with aftermarket ones that I siliconed around the lens to make sure they don't leak, so far so good. I took apart the old lights and the engineering is appalling, in that the outer LED ballast (for LED strip) the wiring connection block was coming off the circuit board, that's why they quit working. The pins don't go all the way through the circuit board. Mopar knows what the problem is as they want the old headlight back for a core to refurbish at $120 and then sell it back to us at $800. My drivers side upper went out and passengers lower went out originally so even if I replaced the outer ballast (there are total of 2 on the whole headlamp assembly) on both it will only fix the upper as the lower is being driven by something else internally.

Destructively or did you bake them? not sure if that is even possible.
You can't just bake them anymore, they have to be cut apart. But can be done without destroying the lights.and can put them back together and reseal.

What lights did you buy to replace oem?
I just spent 2 hours yesterday fixing mine on my 2019 Limited.
Driver side accent light was completely out. Passenger side only the top worked.
Removed both headlights and pulled the side LED module off (smaller of the 2). When you look inside, there is a connector tucked tightly under plastic molding. You will need a couple of picks to remove it and to get it back on.
On the driver side headlight, there were 3 wires completely detached and frayed. You have to carefully take apart the electric connector once out to reinsert the wire properly.
On the passenger side, there were 2 wires completely detached. The problem is, they dont leave any slack in these wires and over time they fatigue and age and break off. These wires are zip-tied together and attached to a post. I undid that and left the wires loose so there isnt so much tension in them.
Once I reconnected the wires and got the connectors back on, both lights work perfectly fine now.
Check the wires. Much better than having to purchase new headlights. Total time spent was about 3 hours.

DID YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE HEADLIGHTS TO DO THIS ?
Nope. Just pulled the smaller LED module off the side of the housing.
There are 2 modules. The really big one on bottom and the smaller one on the side.
Just remove that small module and look inside and you will see the small connector.
