Before the questions arise:
-Yes, I turned off Day time running lights in my settings
- Yes, I turned the headlight knob to off

Even when the knob is off the headlights still stay on? Anyone else have this issue before?

Hello, are you saying the “ full “ headlights stay on or just that housing around them ?

Lol listen there is nothing wrong with buying what fits your needs. I have to say that you have me stumped on this one. The only thing I can suggest is if you go into setting and see what your delayed headlights are set to.

I actually messed around with those settings as well and nothing! Lol luckily the weather here hasn’t been so great so it was normal to have my headlights on. I just don’t want to be driving around on a beautiful summer day with my headlights and taillights on

I already have to go to the dealership for the damn headliner squeak from the Velcro clips lol. I was contemplating just handling that myself, but now with the headlights too... I don’t know anymore. I purchased used with 11,000 miles actually not from a Ram dealer

Still I’m feeling unless something truly traumatic has happened between you and the dealership, going there should still have that covered under your warranty. Are you in North or South Jersey ?

Jersey Shore area but work up in North Jersey.

I was only refraining from going to a dealer because it seems most of them won’t give me a loaner car unless I purchased from them. That’s my main issue

Warranty or recall work should get you a loaner. There may be restrictions around how long they have it. If they need it less than a day, you may not get a loaner.

Just because I hate dealing with switching vehicles and the time it takes, I wait until I have a list of things (it takes them a couple of days to do it all.)

FCA pays them to provide loaners.

That’s good to know, if only they would follow those guidelines lol. I have a few things that definitely need some attention, but no dealership is willing to give a loaner so far. The headliner alone should be over a day

I’ve tried reaching out to your team. No dealer seems to want to give me a loaner. I have a headliner squeak and seat rattle that also needs attention

Hi NJRam93,

I do apologize for the frustration associated with your situation. As our dealers are independently owned and operated, loaner availability is handled at the dealer level. While we are unable to influence your dealer's loaner availability, we can connect you with a case specialist who can work alongside your dealer to ensure all potential solutions are explored regarding your current concerns. If this would be of interest, please send us a PM to get the process started.

I had this happen to me last Friday. Went to my company Christmas party and my wife and I arrived a little early to the restaurant so we were sitting in the parking with the truck in park but running for a few minutes. Nothing I did would turn the headlights off.

I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. Maybe related? I was driving along and noticed the green "headlights on" indicator was not present on my instrument cluster. I always leave my lights in auto mode. The headlights were on. I tried turning on the fog lights to see if their indicator would illuminate and it did not. I tried again at a stop light and the fog lights/indicator did not come on (I could see the reflection in the rear of the vehicle in front of me). While I was scratching my head, the engine went to auto-off mode, and the green "@" indicator DID illuminate. Turned headlight control to off and back on and nothing changed. Put it in park and shut the engine off at the stop light and restarted. No change. Drove home and the next time I drove the truck later in the night, everything worked again. Anyone seen this?

Hi riddickj,

I definitely understand why this would be concerning! If this continues to occur, I recommend following up with your dealer. If you do end up having to work with them, please know that we are just a private message away and happy to provide additional support for that process.
