Headlight Assembly

Forgive my ignorance, but will the H11's work even though the old bulb is a H7? I'm not sure what the different numbers mean obviously. Also, what the heck is up with the 30%, 60%, or 100% more vision?? lol
You might be right.

Amazon said that they would fit the truck, but I just went to Sylvania website and it suggest the SYLVANIA 9005 zXe Halogen for Projector headlights.

This will be the next phase of the install.

Great price...

let me know how they work out. Hopefully they will not cause an issue with the CANBUS system since they are 50W and not 55W like the factory bulbs.
Good point, i might order some just in case and return if i don't need them.

There's an adjustment knob you can use a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the lights with.
Do you have a picture of where it is located with the alpharex light? I looked and looked and could not find it.

Sorry for the delay. Had a little fender bender and had to get that fixed. I ended up installing the LEDs I previously mentioned in the above post, and they did NOT require the canbus cord and work fine.

Sorry to hear about your fender bender. Hopefully everyone is OK.

They look great.

How do they compare to the brightness and visibility of the halogen lights?

Sorry to hijack this thread. Are any of you selling the stock halogen headlight assembly, LH drivers side? Took a road gator to my front end and broke a headlight.

But also leaning on pulling the trigger and getting Alpharex. Thanks in advance!

I will consider selling my stock halogen headlight assembly.

What are you offering?

Interestingly enough, I asked Jeremy at Retro Shop about that when I installed mine because the instructions say F35 is a 15A fuse but, like you said, it’s only 10A. He told me to leave as is so I did. The harness is to retrofit OEM LEDs to trucks that came stock with halogens. My DRLs / accent lights are just as bright as all the other ones that I’ve seen, which is to say that they are not that bright.
Found this as well. https://alpharexusa.com/how-to-wire-the-drl-harness/

They recommend using fuse F66...but i'm not sure where that is lol

This info is for the 4thGenRams not the 5thGenRams.

I tested the fuse box with my Multi-Meter to figure out which one I could use that would only turn on when the truck was running. Most of the fuses had power all of the time.

The only one that I could find was a F60 Fuse : ECM / PCM / ACT Short Running Valve.

Good to know. Thanks! The site said it was up to 2019 models, but I trust you did your research and trial and error lol.

I actually called AlphaRex Support after I found out that the F66 fuse was in the cab. They told me the F66 fuse applies to the old DS body style 2019 model only. Not our 2019 DT body style.

The F60 Fuse will work fine for your DRL's.

Sweet. Thanks again. I'll probably get them hooked up while i'm stuck in this house due to Corona haha
