2020 Ram 2500 Tradesman. When the front wheels drop away quickly there is a noticeable popping, occurs on both tires. Is this a design flaw(?), suspension was checked by dealer after it was pulling to the right. No issues found. Invoice stated tightened front right suspension linkage. Anyone else experience this. Thanks in advance.

I noticed my 2021 rebel with air suspension does this; little hump in the road and as the front suspension “unloads” I feel it clunk. I figured it was the suspension reaching max extension?

Mine did the same. They tightened the body mounts and all good so far. Yours could be the end links as well.

There's a tsb for 2019's for body mounts. My 2020 does this under the driver's side. No tsb for 2020s yet.

Have the same on my 2020 Limited both sides. Dealer tightened the sway bar links and checked the cab mounts but couldn't duplicate the noise. Almost sounds like something hitting the floorboard.
Not at all happy.

Yup, you can hear it and almost feel it. Wondering why the heavy duty springs and shocks do not have an effect on the drop away rate, seems as if they would control it better.

My 2020 Laramie ORG has this exact popping under the drivers floor when the suspension drops to lower pavement on the left side. Been doing it since April. Dealer said everything is tight and they could not duplicate it.

Just because the body mounts are tight doesn't mean they aren't defective. Dealerships are the last place that can trouble shoot a problem, unless there is a recall or TSB but even then that's like pulling a tooth.

I figure the tsb will cover 2020 pretty soon so I'll wait for that. In the mean time ill tighten the driver side a pillar body mount and see if that helps.

good luck with that, I put a 3ft cheater bar on mine and couldn’t get it to move but a hair. I really feLt like that’s what’s causing it but my truck won’t do it when driving straight no matter the bump or drop, mine only does it when making a slight to mostly left hand turn, which tells me it’s something in the steering or suspension.

@ColoradoCub, @Fillman, @Rayrayrebel, @Bigga826, and @Brokay:

Hello everyone, we certainly understand why this would be concerning. Please do not hesitate to send our team a private message for additional support while addressing this concern with your dealer. It certainly could be but the 2019 tsb about the mounts is exactly what we are experiencing. There are replacement part numbers for new mounts and bolts. One guy even had a go pro video of the mounts moving.

Here, I found it: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/front-end-clunk-while-turning-fixed-tsb-23-047-18.1003/

Mine was also driver side body mount, little turn to tighten and all good

The body mount is there the end links mount to the body? Or is this somewhere else?

It's right under where your feet (drivers side) is. Nothing to do with the suspension.

Mine does this, too. Both front tires make a loud clunking noise with potholes or when the suspension is unloaded then reloaded quickly. Originally did it once a week or so for several months, but does it a few times per city mile lately with temperatures around 0 deg F.

Someone have a TSB number, or better yet a link?
