Basically the same here as well. If hot or in direct sunlight, I will typically only wash half at a time leaving the side exposed to the sunlight for last. It has been years since I've owned a black vehicle, and I've never owned a vehicle as large as my RAM, so it took a few washes before I found an approach that worked with good results lol.

Try washing a quad cab old school 8ft bed truck!

Do you guys rinse the truck off after you use foam cannon or do you just go straight to the hand wash part with the bucket and rinse after.

I foam cannon mine and let it sit for a few minutes and then power wash it off (while cringing that my rear window might be leaking). Then, foam it again and wash it. But, I might be doing this totally wrong. This whole foam cannon stuff is kinda new to me.
