2021 Ram 1500 big horn with muffler delete, cold air intake, throttle body spacer and now just today added the edge pulsar. Let me say I have read hundreds of reviews before buying but if I could give thing a honest rating it would be WOW ! Big difference it really make the hemi come alive and it's almost scary in Preformance mode. I have yet to even run premium fuel in it but just with 87 octane you will feel the power! Very impressive if your on the fence just buy it!!

Yes it is. To me it gives the performance that the Hemi should actually have from the factory. I run in tow mode all the time so I don't have to run the premium fuel. And I think the performance in it is just as good. But I do agree that performance mode is really nice.

I found quite by accident that my truck had this installed by the prior owner. It is exceptional! Get it! Nuff said.

HAH.

Had the CST2 in my F150 and loved it. Just not sure if I want to drop a grand on it for this truck or go with the procharger.

The pulsar does change the pedal sensitivity, much like a banks pedal monster would. So that's a big part of what we're feeling.

They claim up to 30 hp in performance mode but I have question marks.

Regardless, I run in tow mode with 91 octane and it does feel really good.

When towing, I prefer to use the "eco" mode as it pulls timing vs the other modes and makes the pedal less sensitive. Less trailer jerking, and for some reason it feels best to me while towing even over stock.

Just purchased the edge pulsar for my 21 Ram Hemi. Then I started seeing quite a few negative reviews related to codes and engine lights and other issues. Now I'm scared to actually install it. Does anyone have any info on if they have solved these issues or anything to calm my mind before I return it?

Like they say crap happens. When it is working properly, it's rock solid. But like anything that modifies the engine and canbus, it can mess up. I've had mine for 3 years and the only time it screwed up was when I bricked it doing a software update. And there was no reason to update it. I just wanted to. But they fixed it for free with no questions asked. It didn't do anything to screw up the truck.

I've had mine for over three years. Only had issues with it once. Popping check engine light and basically killing the throttle. Which sucked because it was usually when trying to accelerate across intersection from a stop light. Removed it's and checked and still had stored codes in PCM so took it to dealer. They scanned it and said they saw the stored codes, but could t find any issues. When I went to reinstall it, I noticed I had forgot to connect the binding wire. Since ai hooked the binding wire back up, I have had no issues. No codes.

When I had just the level and 34" tires, I actually picked up 1.5mpg, around town, using eco mode. And got better fuel mileage in performance mode when cruising long distnces on freeway now that I have a bigger lift, 35" tires, and aftermarket front bumper, eco offers no benefit. So I just keep it in performance mode all the time.
