I have a 2019 early build and do not have that feature available.

Best regards,
Dusty

It may only be on the ones with the 12" display.

Okay, that would explain it. I have the 8.4 inch display.

Hello, did you ever find out about your numbers being white on top and brown on bottom? Is this normal? I have a 2021 Ram Bighorn with same issue.
Thanks,

Thanks,
If you go back to my posts on this thread you’ll see how confirmed it was normal.

I’m on 22,000 miles now on my ‘19. Last week I noticed something new on my lcd screen behind the steering wheel. The bottom half of the numbers on the digital speedometer display are brown. The top half of the number is white. There’s also some shadowing of the numbers of you switch to a different screen view.

Took to dealer and they said it’s a normal factory Ram setting. Am I going crazy? Have I not noticed this in nearly 1.5 years of ownership? I’m 99% sure it used to be purely white. This is also the first time I’ve noticed the shadowing.

The attached picture is the best I could get but doesn’t do it justice.
PLEASE tell me you found a solution My 2019 Bighorn is doing the same exact thing along with not saving the screen display after a couple of days. It reverts back to the "half color" mph!!

2019 Bighorn with NAV8.4 screen ! Nav gives you the option to choose themes, different colors and backgrounds! What your calling discoloration is normal! For trucks without Nav. Since I have NAV I have my display set on blue with all white numbers.

As said above, it’s not a discoloration, it’s intentional shading of the digits...

if you think otherwise, please post a clear pic that shows the defect, as all pics posted here to date are normal
It is not intentional shading because my 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn started changing about 5 months ago. It was hardly noticeable at first, but the discoloration is getting worse. It's extremely difficult to photograph during the daytime. The whole display has a distinctive line running horizontally even in the grey background. I will try to take better images tonight after I park in the garage. Here are the images of the discoloration so far:

Since all these trucks have the same problem! Might be a clue, it’s actually designed to look like this! Ram says it’s normal! Does anyone have a display thats all white? Good grief people of all things to ***** about!

It was all white before! Now it's turning brown and getting darker each month. I've been in electronics since 1970 and worked on many LCD displays. This is indicative of an ISSUE!

This "issue" has been discussed in multiple 5th gen forums since 2018. It's likely that you changed your theme. The theme your pic shows has the lower half shaded. I had this identical theme set in the 2020 Laramie I used to own, with the same shading. This is normal. Try changing the theme in your uconnect settings and you'll see not all of them have shading.

Dude - it's supposed to look like a reflection, and it is supposed to be there. Change to a different theme and it will go away.
