Digital Key setup 2025 Laramie

So I figured out how to do it but was given this popup warning. Not sure I really want to do it.

I wouldn’t do it simply because idk how hard it is to add the vehicle back. I was never able to add my 2020 to the app. Idk if it was because I was the second owner or what. It always came back as me not being the owner. Customer service got it to go through on their end but it was the same result when I logged in. After a while I said screw it.

That is a fine answer to put this off, despite it being 18 months behind and still to this day advertised everywhere as a current feature... but what about those of us who don't even have our RFI keycards? My dealer gave me the run around for so long I gave up. At first they even said there is no keycard! Customer service sent me in a two hour loop one day from RAM Connect to Uconnect Services to RAM Customer Care just in a repeated circle. I got so mad I gave up.

You guys really give the impression that what you want is for us to give up. FWIW my first RAM ever was a 23 Laramie, which I traded in for a 2500 GMC HD ... and surprisingly ended up coming back to the exact same RAM model because I missed the RAM boxes and comfortable ride so much. But if this is the way Stellantis does business, then I will take my construction company's business, and the business of any and everyone I know,, back to GMC who at least won't straight up lie publicly in an ad.

Whats disappointing is that your product is so strong that despite a half done refresh it's still very compelling, and I really expected the truck's quality to be the downside. FCA has continued the improvement there started by Dodge. But Customer Service is exactly like it was fifteen years ago... full of crap, uninformed, and non existant once you pay your down payment and drive off.

The gall of a dealer who only sells RAM trucks advertising the digital key feature on their website at one of the biggest dealers in DFW and then acting like they had no idea what I was talking about was honestly more off putting than not getting my keycard. I felt really deceived. And one of our other guys bought a RAM the same time I did, and got the same treatment.

Rather than wait another 18 months Ill just go ahead and assume and you don't care to keep my business... since no one calls me back, no one responds to my customer service emails, and my dealer is the one who started the phone circle.
Look for the key card behind the glove box. Mine fell behind it and I found it on accident.

I called Connect Care, they said you can no longer be added to release waves as they are done with those rounds of testing and nobody else be able to get the update until a full release is pushed.

I ran into the same setup confusion when I first tried using the Digital Key on my 2025 Laramie. What helped was deleting the truck from the app, re-adding it, and making sure the phone’s NFC and Bluetooth permissions were fully enabled before starting the pairing process.

If the key still won’t activate, try doing the setup with the engine running and the phone held directly next to the reader by the start button mine only registered after that. Also check if your phone has any battery-saving modes on, because those can block the connection without showing any error.
For software-related hiccups, I usually compare version notes or look up quick checks on cdkeyprices.ca. It’s not a fix by itself, but it can help you figure out whether you’re dealing with an update issue or just a bad pairing attempt.
