I see lots of discussion about if the interiors are real leather or not. I’m just needing to know what the recommended cleaner is? My truck did not have an instruction card in it like the one I saw in one post.

From what I understand, don't clean the leather on the DASH with leather conditioner. Limited dashes have history of bubbling away, my 2020 included. There are reports that leather conditioner attacks the adhesive, releasing leather from the substrate. (I'm sure extreme sun exposure hurts dash as much or more - I use windshield shade or car cover all the time in FL.) Just use damp cloth or very mild cleaner on a cloth.

Aside from that, I use leather conditioner on the seats, and have no problems. Bick #4 and other leather conditioners.

I found out too late for dash, and my dash bubbles. I used conditioner on dash sparingly, so dash isn't too bad.

i just use unscented babywipes that are basically water and wipe. I use Huggies on all my vehicles with leather/ leatherette/ whatever for years and no problem at all.

Yea it all looks to be very thin and if I'm being honest, kinda cheap.

I just use a damp cloth, maybe some light soap on it to sud if I need to and a brush to work into those crevices, but mostly just a damp microfiber towel for the interior stuff like the dash and doors. 303 occasionally.

Seats I'll use bick 4, or some 303 leather.

K.I.S.S - keep it simple, stupid. Soapy wudder, a soft bristle brush and clean towels go a long way.

I use a horse hair long bristle brush on my Longhorn's leather seats along with Lexol leather cleaner. My interior color is saddle, and it does show dirt. The Lexol, along with the horse hair brush, does a great job at cleaning and getting the dirt out. I follow up with Lexol leather conditioner. For the dash, so far, nothing more than a damp microfiber cloth.

I've been using Zaino cleaner and conditioner on all my cars and trucks with leather for 20+ years with no issues. I also use it on my leather dash with no issue.
What model RAM do you have?

The Limited has history of leather dash bubbling. Others I believe, like Laramie, do not have same issue, so conditioner may not have same effect on other models.

I have been using Mopar all purpose cleaner for years on my Limited. My dash did bubble less than a year in and was replaced. I decided not to use the cleaner any more on the dash after that. Even though there is no proof that the cleaner caused the issue. I do use it everywhere else including the seats and all the plastic. It doesn't strip the leather clear coat off. It works very well. I also use it in my BMW and it works very well in that car also.

Have a 70% ceramic tint put on your windshield. It will help with the UV rays from the sun. It's very clear and i doubt you will notice the windshield is tinted, also helps with the heat on the steering wheel and dash.

@Marine6212 - Thanks. Do you feel the window tint impairs night or dusk visability?

We have a lot of people here that don't turn on headlights at dusk.... like every other day somebody is flying with no lights... hard to see with no tint. I love tint suggestion to fix UV exposure, but I can't fix stupid...

I'll try to get a pic tonight with my truck pointed away from the street lights with the headlights on.
My 2023 Ram 1500 has a 70% tinted windshield. It's almost clear, it cuts the heat down on the dash and helps with the AC not running constantly on high.
This is a pic of both trucks. This was before the Grey Tam had Tinted windshield. The White Ram has 70%.
