Center console conversion?

congrats i like it. i had a center seat truck i actually wanted one. i now have one with the console. to me the console changes the truck on so many levels, it feels bigger or more roomy.
what did lkq charge you for what you got? i thought i posted a complete laramie (leather) interior with heated and cooled seats for around 1300 in another thread. you could have then sold your cloth seats even if you only got 400 for them it would have been a cheap upgrade.

I still fully intend on swapping leather heated and cooled seats in eventually but not at this point in time plus I’d keep the center console in for that anyways. I’ve got a few other things to do on the truck first lkq charged like $227 for the console and then the other money was for the brackets and such.

I just went and looked and yeah that seat set has no center seat or console so I’d need this regardless as I really wanted the console over the jumpseat in the truck

So i did this, first coming from the dash (2023 bighorn, 8.4" uc5) there was only 1 USB plug, the grey one on the dash mount. I did get that to work and on the center console, the front two usb ports work. the rears do not, and the one in the center console lid does not. also, the harness that goes underneath the center console, only has 3 wires in it. looking at the walk through that is posted on this site (forgot who posted it, or where it is, DL'd it for the part numbers) their plug underneath looks like it is full. Any assistance getting those other plugs to work? (my center also has the cd player, but figure that is not going to work with current setup at the moment)

Just swapped my bench out for a center console, lkq screwed me and swapped the one I bought for a slightly different one without the rear usb. Not wanting to deal with the hassle I just added a 12v usb charger in the console and tapped the 12v lighter plug from the center stack.

Overall super happy with the conversion, the jumpseat was the biggest thing I didn’t like about this truck when I bought it.

Now I have jumpseat on my hands anyone want to buy it

I don't know how much I'm spent so far (definitely over $1200, including upholstery for jump seat to match my other seats), but I'm down to 1 piece missing, the lower tray. No one seems to have that part in stock. Oh well, almost done.

I was able to get everything working. My issue was that the console I purchased was out a 22, and my truck is a 20. In the harness I have the rear usb gets acc/ignition power on wire 17 that on previous models was for the cd player.. Once I tapped that to pull from 4, I was ok..
E12 seems to not be feeding power to illuminate the plugs, but my gut says that has more to do with the ambient lighting being missing. It charges which was the important step

I think I am having the same issue, I have a 19 that had a stock jump seat and got a console from a 21. with a new harness I can get the lid USB to work and the 110 outlets but I have no power to the Front and rear USBs how did you determine what wires you needed to swap in order to feed power to the USBs? did you have a diagram?

need some help. I have a '23 Tradesman that I'm attempting to swap the jump seat out for a full console from a '22 Bighorn.

The Tradesman has -
- USB/ aux port on the lower dash panel
- 110v outlet on the lower dash panel
- usb port in the arm rest
- no rear ports for the back seat.

Bighorn console has -
- usb/aux ports at the dash
- usb in the arm rest
- front 110v outlet in the console
- rear usb ports
- rear 110v outlet

I got the "H" connector from under the driver seat rerouted and moved to the front with room length to spare. I removed the cubby, the lower panel on the drivers side and the radio stack. Cut all the cable ties and freed up the usb cable and the square connector harness that went to the hub and rerouted and got some extra length. Plugged in the "H" connector, the usb out of the dash to the port beside it and left the square plug unplugged for testing because it has to be extended because my console has the offset right usb ports.

Here is where things go very wrong... when I hit the start button to see if it had power, the console (female) usb port instantly went up in smoke?? I killed power and unplugged it but the female port is toast. The dash side cable is looking rough but works fine. My question is what would cause it?

I have a 2020 Laramie longhorn with the full console. I just bought a kit off eBay to attempt the swap. I wish I had seen this earlier. Have you found your console?
