Center console conversion?

The plugs in question from the above post

I have tested the two 4 pin plugs in the rear of the console. usb hub does not work with either of them, console lid usb works with both. power in the wiring does not appear to be an issue. my current assumption is the USB hub from the swap in console was bad.

I have received a new rear usb hub.. still no luck getting it to work. apparently the wiring to power the hub and the wiring to power the console lid are not the same. Does anyone have any suggestions to get this hub powered?

I made a step by step how to with part number and prices for converting from a jump seat to center console. I noticed some of the earlier posts or pics were removed or I couldn't find so I made this guide with information I wanted to know before I started on this swap. Let me know if this helps

I was able to get everything working. My issue was that the console I purchased was out a 22, and my truck is a 20. In the harness I have the rear usb gets acc/ignition power on wire 17 that on previous models was for the cd player.. Once I tapped that to pull from 4, I was ok..
E12 seems to not be feeding power to illuminate the plugs, but my gut says that has more to do with the ambient lighting being missing. It charges which was the important step

Just swapped my bench out for a center console, lkq screwed me and swapped the one I bought for a slightly different one without the rear usb. Not wanting to deal with the hassle I just added a 12v usb charger in the console and tapped the 12v lighter plug from the center stack.

Overall super happy with the conversion, the jumpseat was the biggest thing I didn’t like about this truck when I bought it.

Now I have jumpseat on my hands anyone want to buy it

congrats i like it. i had a center seat truck i actually wanted one. i now have one with the console. to me the console changes the truck on so many levels, it feels bigger or more roomy.
what did lkq charge you for what you got? i thought i posted a complete laramie (leather) interior with heated and cooled seats for around 1300 in another thread. you could have then sold your cloth seats even if you only got 400 for them it would have been a cheap upgrade.

I already had this center console when that was shared so this was gonna happen regardless all in im like $400 into the center console swap. I did see that Laramie interior you shared iirc it had a middle jump seat or no console I cant remember which.

I still fully intend on swapping leather heated and cooled seats in eventually but not at this point in time plus I’d keep the center console in for that anyways. I’ve got a few other things to do on the truck first lkq charged like $227 for the console and then the other money was for the brackets and such.

oh i just thought you wanted the seats my bad. that was cheap i see people asking over double that for a console sometimes 900-1000 lol.
