Build your 2020 ram online!

No ED engine option

I like the build it tool much better than the last version. Pic are better for sure.

I think it still has some glitches. I built my exact truck just to see the difference; it looks like 2020 will come to about $1240 more. Not that I'm going to buy a 2020; but I am disappointed that the 3.55 gears are still not available with the V8 and that RAM can't add some new color options to the old tired selection. When Destroyer Gray is available; then maybe I'll make the switch.

Advanced Safety group confirmed for 2020 Rebel, along with the blackout package as well.

Also looks like you can get non red accents on rebel interior.

However, haven't seen anything about the supposedly standard comfort package for the Rebel with memory seats and ram charger. Looked at cars.com across the country and they don't appear to have it on the current lot builds either from the ones I glanced at. :cautious:

I like the look of Laramie with night package--those are the first black wheels that look good to me; but every time I selected night package, my standard hemi engine selection reverted back to standard V6 e-Torque.

No Ecodeisel option..

I think something is up with the online builder. About a week ago (before they changed to the new format) I built a 2019 Laramie/Sport/eTorque/12"/Sunroof/etc and the total was was $61,575.

Today I built an identical 2020 and that came out to $66,825. 5k higher than the 2019!

I went line by line to see where the differences were:
2019 eTorque is 1k more
2019 limited slip is $200 more
2020 Level 2 is $300 more
2020 Sport package is $100 more
2020 22" wheels (same is the 2019) is $700 more!!
2020 12" Uconnect is $700 more!!
2020 rear storage is now $125 (was $0 part of package before)
2020 now charges $1,295 for leather (was $0 part of package before)

Everything above comes out to be a net increase of 2k higher for the 2020. Not sure where the other 3k comes from as the base MSRPs are almost identical.

So I re-ran the 2019 using the current builder - it came out to $63,825. Only gaps I can find to the 2019 I ran a week ago is the leather seats and under seat storage (no longer included in the package.) Once you factor in the 1k for those, it is still $1,230 higher.

This cant be right - those are significant increases.

Very frustrating trying to order a 2020 laramie quad. Keeps deleting sport package and then when I add power running boards it goes back to the smaller engine for some reason. Also does not like ordering level 2 equipment and dealer is having same issue trying to get me level two equipment

Nothing to see here folks - the online Build & Price tool for 2020 DT trucks is clearly not worth using at this time.

I built out an equivalent truck to my 2019 and it was $230 less than my 2019 4x4 Limited CC with eTorque. Most of that difference appears to be in the Hemi with eTorque - 2019 option was $2,645 and 2020 is $1,955. Base price of the Limited went from my 2019 $56,495 to 2020 $56,915 in my comparison.

It's difficult to figure out where changes are made due to FCA making changes to base prices during the same model year. I ran across at least 2 different base prices on the same Limited models last year when I was shopping for my truck.

All those lovely options in a rebel but still no memory seats! Lol.

Price decreased significantly for the etorque which is nice, and increase significantly for the 12" screen which is not so nice.

Just received an email from a local dealer who spoke with a district manager stating that the "Rebel Comfort Package" will in fact become standard on the 2020 rebel in the next few weeks. This package includes 12 way power driver seat, memory seats, ram charger, and remote tailgate release. Looks like I'll be hanging on to my wife's paid off 2009 equinox for a little while longer. Anybody looking for one with only 48,000 miles on it? ;)

Can you ask about the Ecodeisel option for me?..
