Dealership says the tail light is leaking which allowed water into the plug and corroded everything. Also ruined the blind spot module as well due to the moisture. Of course my extended warranty doesn't cover corrosion. So they have to replace the pigtail and the light. Hopefully this fixes the issue permanently.

Any luck on a fix? I took my light assembly off this morning and inspected both. There is zero sign of water/moisture damage and the harnesses look new. I cleaned them up and put some dielectric grease on the BSM module as well as the harness for the light assembly. The lights all work fine, it's just the BSM that keeps kicking the error on the dash (blind spot monitoring unavailable). What is the consensus on how to remedy this annoying thing? Thanks.

Hey guys similar issue, I was told you can turn off bypass the BSM if needed as I am waiting for new tail lights due to moisture tripping my BSM made my whole truck go heywire. Does anyone know whcih of these conenctors I need to unplug to turn off the BMS?

I beliebve it may be one fo the lower connectors on the block just not sure which one I have a 2019 Ram
