Blacking out Limited badges with Plastidip

Did u use an exacto knife or razor blade anywhere? Whould that help do u think?

Nope. Everything cut crisp just by peeling the excess off. I was worried about the mirror caps but they cut clean too. Just peel it off slow.

I have a black limited too and want to delete all the chrome. Has anyone on the forum done this with plasti dip? I’d love to see a pic. I think mine would look so much better without chrome.

Just buy the black lettering and badging off of eBay. That’s what I did with my limited. Pricing isn’t too bad.
Im in the process of doing my own “Night” edition.

Blackout looks great! If you really want to spruce up your hemi badge, do the “Hemi 5.7L” in red, it really compliments the darker colors:

I blacked out my BMW with Plasti Dip. It's been on there for 2-years and still looks great. I did the rims, the grill and surrounds and the brow above the headlights.
