In case anyone is looking for 5100's try the Eibach's. They look identical. I ran a set on an F150 a few years back. They're also little cheaper usually as well. This is the preloaded one with spring E80-27-011-01-22, this one is just the shock E60-27-011-03-10, this is rear for up to 1.5" of lift E60-27-011-03-01. The site will say they are for 2wd just like Bilstein 5100's did at first but they should work. Look up www.eibach.com
What are u doing!!! More confusion LOL....glad I'm done w/ my suspension for the time being, can't be confused for now. Fox uses Eibach springs, and I ran their coilovers on a Stage 3 300zx I used to have.

Has anyone purchased the front and rear kit together similar to the one shown below? Does the rear shock actually provide lift? Im looking to do this on an ORG truck with some readylift UCA's. 1594050772888.png

The rear does not add lift. You would have to add a spring spacer to get any lift in the rear. The Bilsteins are just designed to be able to accommodate it.

Has anyone thrown a set of the rear bilsteins on? Wondering if they're an upgrade I should do? I don't plan on putting a rear spacer on but if they are a quality improvement over the stocks then I wouldn't mind replacing all 4 struts.

Bilstein uses Eibach springs as well.

I personally think the stock shocks are absolute garbage. I replaced them with 5100s in all 4 corners, added hd springs to the rear (which provided 1" lift), and the difference was night and day. Without the springs it would still be as good, I just added them for when I tow every so often.

Sadly, I rented an F-150 King Ranch, which I believe is Fords equivalent to the Laramie, and it's stocks shocks were way better than Dodge's.

To each their own, but I cannot see a reason why someone would regret swapping out the OE shocks to 5100s.

I agree, I don't really expect the stock struts to be great. Also, at $91 a piece for the rears its not a huge investment really and if I am already planning on tearing the front around I can handle the back at the same time.

I put a set of 5100’s on the front then added a set of 5160’s to the rear. I like the setup

I ordered from them on 6/26 showing in stock, but apparently they were not... and they have not responded to two emails about the order. Gonna cancel and order from someone else. I can't handle poor customer service. They should have immediately let me know they were not in stock instead of tying up my money for 12-14 days.

I have a 20’ BTS apparently with the ORP. Does anyone know if the 5100s will accommodate a 1” spacer in the rear with the ORP springs? Or should i go 5160 in the rear. I plan on doing level 5 in the front. Any help is appreciated

From other posts on here, the rear 5100s will support a 1" spacer with the ORP.

Thanks wasnt sure, still debating on whether or not to go with them or the 5160s.
I’d still go with the 5160s. Will without question handle it, has more capability, and looks cooler with the reservoir.

I'm waiting for Bilstein to come out with the 6112s for the front, then I'll switch to the 5160s for the rear. From those I spoke to that have them, not one person has said anything negative about them. I'm wondering how much they'll improve over the 5100s

Has anyone installed the icon 1.5 inch rear springs with 5160’s and 5100’s in front? I have 5100’s ordered but would like to have a slight rake while going with setting 6 on 5100’s. Was also debating returning the 5100’s and just doing the dirt logic 3 inch lift

I had the icon springs on my 2015 ram 1500. 5100s front and rear and they were awesome. Truck was nice and smooth and with payload in the bed it would not sag. I wouldn’t hesitate to get them with the 5160’s

Did you have any issues with the 5100’s in the rear since they are rated for 0-1inch lift and the icon springs are 1.5 inch lift? I could save a little money going with the 5100’s over 5160’s

Someone mentioned elsewhere that the 0-1" lift rating included those who have the Off-Road Package, which is 1" higher than standard, so if you have a standard truck you should be okay with the 5100's up to a 2" lift.

This makes me wonder, is the 1.5 rise on those springs compared to factory with or without ORP?

My last truck had the 6’4” bed with the Ram box option. Icon says it will only lift 1” with that bed setup and such was the case. If you have the 5’7” bed I would not mess around... just get the 5160’s. #worthit

On the Bilstein website I put in my truck info (2019 Ram Laramie coil suspension) and this came up:

B8 5100 (RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE) - SHOCK ABSORBER
Part Number: 24-232203
That is the correct part number. Mine just arrived from CARiD after a big mess with Real Truck. I'll never order anything from RT again. Terrible customer service and virtually no communication about the backlog with Bilstein.
